Take in the moon rise over the mountain from the large 2nd story deck complete with BBQ. We have a new 42" flatscreen TV, wireless WiFi and Direct TV, of course!

We spent 4 nights here the week after Christmas. Property is located off a country road & was a nice, traffic free, 4-5 miles drive to Holiday Valley/Ellicottville. It was a scenic, 20 min drive to Olean which had a movie theatre, more restaurants & a larger grocery store.

The apartment is over the garage of owners house with a separate entrance. It was private & quiet during our stay. The owners were very friendly & accommodating. The kitchen has full sized appliances & all the amenities you would need for a longer stay are available (coffee maker, toaster, cookware, dinnerware, etc). The living area is quaint & cozy - we enjoyed the gas 'stove' fireplace each evening & were able to hook our PS3 into the tv to play video games. The loft has a neat ladder leading up to it - there is a futon that makes into a bed up there as well as a rocking chair, small tv & floor space that could fit maybe 3 persons in sleeping bags. The bedrooms are on the smaller side but sufficient & the beds are comfortable. Each bedroom has a dresser with drawers for use as well as nice sized closets to easily store all suitcases & hang clothing. The bathroom is roomy with a bathtub/shower set up & plenty of counter & storage space for sharing. There is an area available to stow ski gear & snowboards as well as wall hooks for coats & ski accessories at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the apartment. Owners have made the apartment very inviting with extra touches such as candles, plants, board games & decorating (even Cmas decorations during our stay).

We enjoyed our visit & would recommend it to friends & family going to this area.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing

Owners response: We have tried to make it a home away from home and not just somewhere to sleep! We will be adding small touches as time goes on. We love sharing this special space with new friends!
