Clean, bright home on Peace River

Awesome vacation. Breathtaking views. Pictures don't do it justice. Interior of home is professionally decorated and is extremely bright and cheerful with a nautical theme. The open living room, dining room and kitchen area is the place to be and congregate. The lanai is very nice on a good day and we ate many meals there. I love the master suite with a queen size bed, large closet, desk, TV and our own bathroom with walk in shower. The second bedroom is small and has a full size bed, night stand and a closet. A second bathroom with tub/shower combination and washer & dryer is across the hall. We had family and friends visiting for a week at a time and everyone was quite comfortable. Located on the Peace River there was a beautiful view, the sunsets are gorgeous, and fishing is good. We borrowed a friends kayaks and went kayaking for a great time. There are many things to do in the area. Some of the places we enjoyed were Englewood Beach which has great sea shells, Sanibel Island, Naples Botanical Gardens and Key West. Closer to home one of our favorites was Ponce de Leon Park and their wildlife area and walkway. For eating out, the favorite was Peace River Seafood on Rt. 17 about a mile away. Fisherman's village was excellent and we enjoyed taking our puppy most everywhere we went as this is a pet friendly area. The owner was very easy to work with, pleasant and efficient. When we arrived the TV and internet were not hooked up yet. A phone call to the owner fixed the problem. I would highly recommend this beautiful home on the Peace River during the months that I do not have it booked for next year.

Recommended for: age 55+, girls getaway, pet-friendly, sight seeing
