- Amenities at Park Shore Resort include outdoor heated pool and spa, tennis courts, sun deck, grilling area, game room, and a classy on-site restaurant and pub (recent update/disclosure: on-site restaurant and pub is currently seeking a new tenant. I should point out that there are numerous top-level restaurants within 3 miles of the resort, and some within walking distance! Finding a good place to eat in Naples is likely the easiest thing you may do during your stay.)

Nothing else than... great!

We're a Swedish family of four who decided to spend this year's vacation in Florida. With two kids in the family, the theme parks outside Orlando were a must, but after that I reckoned we would need a few days of rest (before doing the Glades, Key West, and Miami). Ray's condo in Naples was what caught my eye when making our plans for this trip and the most certainly needed days of relaxation, planned to take place by the Gulf of Mexico.

We had the condo for almost a week and as it turned out it was the best place we stayed at during our entire Florida adventure. Parents as well as the kids were very pleased and really felt that we had gotten ourselves a home in Florida, if so only for six nights. The condo itself proved to be very neat, clean, as well as having all the things you need (washing machine, dryer, and a fully equipped kitchen to be more exact). The kids actually enjoyed having us parents cook something simple instead of going to McDonald's and the likes again.

If the condo itself was great, so was the location. First and foremost, it meant having access to the nicest pool that we came across during our Florida vacation. And the beaches were only a couple of minutes away. Supermarkets were as close as one had hoped for, if not closer.

Beside all that, Ray (the owner of the condo) not only helped with information and practical details, he also took an interest in us as individuals and it felt as if we had gotten a friend, not only somebody to rent a condo from for a while. It's just a pity we never got a chance to meet Ray in person.

Before going to Florida, Naples seemed like the break between "real" activities and cooler places to go. But largely thanks to our positive experiences from Naples Park Shore, Naples turned out to be one of the highlights. Therefore, I've got no other comment than "highly recommended."

I would say that Stefan's experience, not atypical, may reflect the fact that the Park Shore Resort (and surroundings) may appear to be understated "on paper," but more often than not, the "real total visitor experience" turns out to appreciably exceed expectations. That's a good thing! That is why we ALWAYS say: "Naples is Paradise."

We found this condo to be everything we had hoped for and then some! It was very
clean, the layout was a good design, and the 2 bed, 2 bath was a very nice
feature. Our 23 year old daughter traveled with us, so this was extra nice as
she had her own space. We traveled to the Turks and Caicos in June and stayed in
a condo resort which was also very nice but lacked the extra room and 2nd bath.
Additionally Ray's unit has every appliance you might have at home such as
dishwasher, refrigerator, garbage disposal, trash compacter,and all the handy
small kitchen appliances ie coffee maker, microwave, etc.
The unit has it's own washer/dryer which makes life much easier when vacationing
vs having to visit the resorts laundry faclilities.
Ray also has tv's in each room and the resort has wireless internet throughout.
The grounds of Park Shore are immaculate, and we observed staff constantly
cleaning and keeping repairs up to date. The front desk staff were very nice,
and you can stop there throughout the day for free coffee, or to pick up
pool/beach towels. Thats where the fitness equipment is located. They also
offered us coupons for the Island Pub restaurant located within the resort which
has a really good lunch menu! There is live entertainment 3 nights a week which
is also a good time. If you are a beach lover like us, we discovered free beach
parking just up the street over the bridge 5 minutes away. The area is fantastic
and upscale, very visually appealing. There is a shopping center right across
the street with a Publix supermarket and tons of other stores. Plenty of things
for adventure seekers locally, my daughter went on a scuba-diving trip which she
loved. I'd highly recommend renting this unit from Ray as it has a great
location within the resort, it has a great screened in balcony, which is quite
large, and gets lots of sunlight. A much better deal than staying in a hotel for
sure!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

Wonderful stay in Naples

We had a wonderful stay at Ray's condo in Naples. It was all we expected and more. Close to the beach and the beach chairs provided made for an added bonus. Everything was neat and clean. The hot tub and pool facilities were excellent. We also enjoyed Monday night at the Pub. Live jazz band and friendly neighborhood conversation. We very much hope to visit again.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sight seeing
