This historic house was originally built in the 1890's by Charles McPeters, and was was intended to be used as a hotel along the CC & O Railroad. However, The railroad never made it to the area and the McPeters' Mansion remained a private residence. Located 7 miles west of Burnsville and 30 miles north of Ashville, this quaint rural residence is the perfect get away for large families or groups who want to experience historical America.
