If fishing is your passion, Lake Livingston is a paradise. White bass, black bass, striper, crappie and catfish are very plentiful in the lake. There are professional fishing guides available for hire if needed.
For golfing enthusiast, there is a nine hole golf course in the town of Livingston as well as three additional golf courses in the area.
This cottage provides a favorable view of the lake from it’s spacious wrap around front deck. The deck is roomy enough for stretching out on a hammock, barbequing and outside dining.
The Indian Hills Peninsula is a very unique neighborhood, affording an island like atmosphere for the happy residents and visitors. The lake will be in view at all times as you walk the three and a half mile perimeter of the peninsula. Walking, jogging and bicycling are common on the streets because the auto traffic is very light.
The two driveways on the grounds insure ample parking for two vehicles and a watercraft. Access to the lake is via one of the finest public boat ramps on Lake Livingston. The boat ramp is located at the entrance to the Indian Hills Peninsula, making it close by and convenient.
Other local businesses include a boat rental facility (nice boats), offering jet skis, pontoon boats, and power boats.
A small restaurant and convenience store provides food, snacks, drinks and boat fuel. These businesses as well as the Church on the Lake are also conveniently located at the entrance to the Indian Hills subdivision.
Drive time from downtown Houston is approximately an hour and a half.

This cottage has central AC/Heat. The living area includes a free standing wood burning fire place. Cable and WIFI are included. The living area has a wide screen 52" TV and a DVD/VCR combo. The main bedroom has a TV and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher. Other kitchen amenities include a coffeepot, toaster, pots, pans and dinnerware. Paper products, linens blankets pillows and towels are also provided. The wrap around front deck includes a patio table, hammock and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.
