Vacation Rental Description

The Shores Beach Haven is a Luxury home with upscale furnishings 
throughout the house as well as lots of space to relax and enjoy 
your surroundings. From the lovingly restored hard wood floors to 
the bubbling hot Jacuzzi in the private back yard, to the high thread 
count linens in the bedrooms and bathrooms, this house does not miss 
a step. This home is also located in the heart of La Jolla Shores - 
the ideal location for your vacation. Even though this home is in 
the middle of a residential neighborhood, the beach is just 3 short 
blocks away, the closest grocery store and restaurants are only one 
block away and Sea World is less than a 15 minute drive.

This home has 3 bedrooms, with sleeping space for 2 - 8 people. The 
master bedroom is located in it's own private wing of the house and 
has a luxurious california king size bed with four poster bed frame, 
walk in closet, 27 inch television with full cable channels. The 
large master bathroom has dual sinks, a large bathtub and specialty 
tile flooring. The masterbedroom also has direct access to the back 
yard and Jacuzzi. The second bedroom has a queen size bed, large 
closet space, television with full cable channels and french doors 
that open up to the back yard area and the warm morning sun. The 
third bedroom has two twin beds and is across the hall from the 
second bedroom and bathroom. All linens (sheets, pillows, blankets, 
bath towels, beach towels) are provided. 

The living room is fully equipped with a large comfortable couch and 
additional seating. The large screen television and dvd player with 
full surround audio visual system for late nights watching your 
favorite movies. There is also a working fireplace for cozy nights 
by the fire. 

There is an additional family room off of the kitchen area with 
another fireplace, large couch and table. This area is perfect for 
relaxing with a book or fun game while the movie is on in the other 
room. The soft comfortable couch in this extra living room folds out 
into a full size bed to create additional sleeping space for any 
extra guests. 

The spacious kitchen has full size range and oven, side by side 
refrigerator and freezer with icemaker, dishwasher, trash compactor, 
and mounted microwave. The custom painted cabinets and counter tops 
create more room than you will know what to do with while preparing 
a meal for your entire family. This home comes complete with all 
dishes, glassware, utensils, as well as all kitchen utensils and 
small appliances necessary to prepare any meal. There is also a 
dining area with beautiful table and chairs that provide seating for 
at least 8. 

The private back yard includes a great wood deck with lots of room 
for sun bathing. This area also includes two outdoor dining areas 
with seating for 8, a gourmet gas BBQ grill, outdoor hot and cold 
water shower, and sunken, warm and bubbly Jacuzzi. There is also a 
large, private grassy area - perfect for a game of afternoon catch 
or kickball.

In addition, you can order food and dairy products to be delivered 
to the home prior to your arrival. Your order will be charged to 
your credit card. To cancel or change your order, please contact us

Activities and Attractions

Other places of interest and all within walking distance or less 
than a 5 minute drive include the Cove Theater, an old movie house
that specializes in foreign films, the renowned La Jolla Museum of 
Contemporary Art, the Pannekin Café (the very first European style 
coffee shop in San Diego County), several fine galleries, and of 
course, a host of wonderful unique shops. The town boasts numerous 
churches and temples (Presbyterian, Catholic, Episcopalian, Jewish, 
Quaker, etc.) Families can also enjoy touring the newly renovated La 
Jolla Scripps Aquarium. The La Jolla PlayHouse on the grounds of the 
University of California at San Diego offers superb theatre 
performances. 

Also within walking distance or a very short drive are numerous 
upscale restaurants or local haunts. i.e.: Harry's (an old-time 
coffee shop specializing in breakfasts), La Valencia Hotel and 
Whaling Bar, Sammy's Wood Fired Pizza, George's at the Cove, 
Alfonso's, El Ranchero, Bully's, The Mandarin House, The Fish 
Market, The Marine Room, to mention a few. There is a breakfast-
bagel 
restaurant and an ice-cream store just two blocks away. And for the 
connoisseur of down-home Mexican food, there are several outstanding 
taco shops nearby.

Vacation Rental Rates

$2,500/week or $415/night or $6,000/month during the Winter Season
(October 1 - May 31)
$3,900/week or $650/night during Thanksgiving, Christmas/New Years,
Spring Break/Easter, Memorial Day
$4,000/week or $670/night during Mid Season (June 1 - 14 and September
2 - 30)
$4,200/week during the Summer season - weekly basis from Saturday -
Saturday only (June 15 - Sept 1)

**These rates do not include a 10.5% tax, cleaning fee and refundable
security deposit
**We require a minimum 4 night rental during the Winter and Holiday
seasons
