Spacious, yet cozy and relaxing with comfy beds. Awesome views of the mountains. Our Adirondack home is designed for comfort while away from home. Friends tell us that they get the best sleeps - ever - !  Kick back and relax with a book or hike, ski and snowshow to your heart's content. Roast marshmellows over the firepit outside or enjoy a hot cocoa by the stone fireplace inside. Every room has a purpose. The living room boasts a huge fireplace and lots of comfortable seating. Cozy up to the fire or watch a movie on the large flatscreen TV. Enjoy a relaxing meal in the warm, inviting dining room or just hang around the kitchen chatting while "someone" cooks a delicious meal. Kids or friends can watch their own movies, play games, chat and relax in the rec room.  The house has wireless internet for your convenience. If you chose to work while away, the den is set up for just that. - While catching up, you will have the luxury of looking over the mountain range.

The master has a very comfortable king size bed and it's own 4 piece bathroom. Watch the ever changing mountain views right from the luxury of your bed.

The Second bedroom sports two twin beds; the third, Moose bedroom has a queen bed. These two share a bathroom. 

The main level, pine cone bedroom features a queen and a double bed. A full ADK bathroom is on the bottom level. 

We have to toss a coin over who will sleep on the covered porch in the spring, summer and fall. There is nothing like it. :)

Winter sports - Great skiing or snowboarding on the Olympic trails of Whiteface, cross country ski the JackRabbit trails or snowshoe through the majestic 10 acres surrounding the Lodge. Skate on the lakes. 

Summer - In the summer go biking, swimming and hiking. Watch a triathelon or the bobsleds or luge runs, maybe even follow the Olympic athletes as they train. No matter how you spend it, it's a great holiday. 

Watch the sun set over the Sentinel Mountain Range while enjoying a glass of wine, cold beer or a hot tea on the wraparound porch. Listen to the rambling Gulf Brook as it skips over the rocks; you can hear the cry of the hawk and the rustle of the wind through the peaceful Balsam forest. Great views, lots of privacy, short (relative word) walk to the Hamlet of Keene. This is heaven. Only 15 minutes away from Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain!!!

Close to Whiteface Mnt for downhill skiing. Hiking and biking. Brook for fishing (need a license), snowshoe from the back door. Comfortable setting for relaxing and reading. Great restaurants within the area if you don't want to cook.

Minimum rental - three nights. Cleaning charge of $150-300 will apply to all rentals. Peak rental times are at the maximum cost.
