This engagingly rustic three bedroom with loft 1930s cabin welcomes you into its newly remodeled kitchen with beautiful granite counters. All rooms look out onto the beautiful cedars and vine maples of Mt Hood. You can relax on the sun porch and listen to the soothing sound of the ZigZag River down the hill.
The first floor has one Bedroom with a queen bed and an elegant spiral staircase that leads you to two spacious bedrooms that each have a queen bed. The open loft has a queen bed as well so the house is perfect for four couples. The loft is accessed via a catwalk that crosses the open living room space. The home has a wood stove and a great flat screen TV, DVD player, and game system, which makes it the perfect place to call home when you are ready to relax after a day of hiking or a day on the slopes.
The house is minutes from the heart of Government Camp so it is convenient to all of the ski areas, restaurants and amenities in town, but it feels a world apart as you can pull up a chair and relax by a camp fire while you listen to the rushing of the ZigZag River down below.
