ruining your vacations?
If so, then escape to the unspoiled, scenic Outer Banks of North
Carolina -- and the quaint seaside village of Duck. Here you'll find
our enchanting home, Jessica's Dune, which sits atop a high sand
dune, and is only 450 yards from the warm, Gulf Stream waters of the
Atlantic Ocean.
There are completely unobstructed and panoramic views of the
Currituck Sound from the west deck and outdoor jacuzzi. The sunsets
are simply spectacular.
The house is bright, fully equipped, and decorated as a true home --
not just a rental property. Special features include hardwood floors,
Oriental rugs, and cozy, comfortable leather furniture surrounding a
wood-burning fireplace.
All the conveniences are provided including CATV, a CD-stereo, and
books -- allowing for a truly peaceful and relaxing vacation!

“Jessica’s Dune” was built in 1986. We maintain it as our second home
NOT as a rental property. We believe that the difference in quality
and appearance is immediately apparent. The house is in perfect
condition and immaculately clean.
The home has three bedrooms, all on the top floor. The master bedroom
is very large, has a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a view of
Currituck Sound and a private bath with two sinks and a separate area
for the toilet and shower/tub. The second bedroom has a queen-size
bed and a large closet. The third bedroom has two single beds and a
bunk set with another walk-in closet. These two bedrooms share a full
bathroom in the hallway. There is also a half-bathroom downstairs.
The entire upstairs is pecan paneled and carpeted.
The downstairs floor plan is as follows: There is a fully equipped,
galley kitchen with a breakfast bar and adjoining pantry. There is a
large dining area with sliders leading to the screened porch. There
is a picnic table for outdoor dining and some chairs.
The main living area has a large, leather couch and a matching
overstuffed chair grouped around a cozy fireplace. The entire
downstairs level has fragrant juniper wainscoting and hardwood floors
covered by Oriental rugs. Three 6- foot sliders on the West and North
side of the living room provide an unparalleled view of the Sound and
the sunsets and provide access to the wraparound deck. The 6-person
hot-tub is sunken into the deck on the West side. The house is quite
high up on a dune so this is also VERY private. There is also an
enclosed 2-car garage below the living areas and an outside shower.
The house is completely equipped: Central air-conditioning and heat,
washer and dryer, microwave oven, icemaker, dishwasher, electric
cooktop and convection oven, small appliances, pots, pans,
dinnerware, flatware, wine glasses, fireplace, 2 color TV’s with
cablevision, VCR, and a CD/cassette-stereo system. There is an in-
ground charcoal grill outside near the kitchen for convenience.
The only items that are not included are linens, towels and paper
products. However, the linens and towels can be provided for a
nominal, additional charge. We do provide blankets, bedspreads,
mattress covers, and pillows.

Rates do NOT include 11.5% tax. The rental rate you see listed is an
all-inclusive amount. In 2009, you'll pay nothing extra for:
• Damage Waiver coverage
• Booking/administrative fee
• Credit card fee
• No pre-reserve fee (OK, we admit, we've never charged those. We've
always allowed you to reserve for next year for free!)
