Jessica's Dune - Sunset/Sound Views, Hot tub, FP, Serenity! in Duck

Have the ever-increasing crowds at the usual beach resort areas been
ruining your vacations?

If so, then escape to the unspoiled, scenic Outer Banks of North
Carolina -- and the quaint seaside village of Duck. Here you'll find
our enchanting home, Jessica's Dune, which sits atop a high sand
dune, and is only 475 yards from the warm, Gulf Stream waters of the
Atlantic Ocean.

We have completely unobstructed and panoramic views of the Currituck Sound from the west deck and outdoor hot tub. The sunsets are simply spectacular!

The house is bright, fully equipped, and decorated as a true home --
not just a rental property. Special features include hardwood floors,
Oriental rugs, and cozy, comfortable leather furniture surrounding a
gas fireplace.

Just added for 2010: an 800 sq. ft. recreation room with a pool table, HDTV, Wii console, wet bar and full bath. This room could also be used as a fourth bedroom or "in-law suite."

All the conveniences are provided including HDTV, a CD-stereo, DVD player, Wi-Fi and books -- allowing for a truly peaceful and relaxing vacation!

“Jessica’s Dune” is our second home, NOT merely a rental property. We believe that the difference in quality and appearance is immediately apparent. The house is in perfect condition and immaculately clean.

The home has three bedrooms, all on the top floor. The master bedroom
is very large, has a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a view of
Currituck Sound and a private bath with two sinks and a separate area
for the toilet and shower/tub.

The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a large closet.

The third bedroom has two single beds and a bunk set with another walk-in closet. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom in the hallway. There is also a half-bathroom downstairs.

The entire upstairs is pecan-paneled and carpeted.

The downstairs floor plan is as follows: There is a fully equipped,
galley kitchen with a breakfast bar and adjoining pantry. A
large dining area with sliders leads to the screened porch where you'll find a picnic table for outdoor dining.

The main living area has a large, leather couch and a matching
overstuffed chair grouped around a cozy fireplace. The entire
main level has fragrant juniper wainscoting and hardwood floors
covered by Oriental rugs. Three 6- foot sliders on the West and North
side of the living room provide an unparalleled view of the Sound and
the sunsets and provide access to the wraparound deck. The 6-person
hot-tub is sunken into the deck on the West side. Watch the sunset from the tub with a nice glass of wine and relax!

The house is quite high up on a natural sand dune so this makes the deck VERY private. A large recreation room with a wet bar and full bath on the ground floor was just added for 2010.

The house is completely equipped: Central air-conditioning and heat, outdoor shower, washer and dryer, microwave oven, icemaker, dishwasher, electric
cooktop and convection oven, small appliances, pots, pans,
dinnerware, flatware, wine glasses, fireplace, 2 HDTV's, VCR, DVD, Wi-Fi and a CD/cassette-stereo system. An in-ground charcoal grill outside near the kitchen is provided for barbecuing.

Linens are provided free of charge. The only items that are not included are towels and paper
products. However, the towels can be provided for a nominal, additional charge. We do provide blankets, bedspreads, mattress covers, and pillows.

Sun, Surf, Sand, Serenity, Family Fun, Golf, Fishing .... the beach
as it should be!

Bird-watching, star-gazing, lighthouses, shopping, historical sites (including the Wright Bros. National Historic Site and Museum, the North Carolina State Aquarium, the Elizabethan Botanical Gardens.)

Sailing, windsurfing, kayaking.

Fine dining and family dining.
