Vacation Rental Description

Adorable two deck ski chalet in Newbury, New Hampshire. Very close  
to  
Lake Sunapee and Mount Sunapee ski Area. 
 
3 Bedrooms – sleeps 8 people  
 
6 miles to Mount Sunapee Ski Area. 
1 hour drive to Killington Ski Area, Pat's Peak, or Ragged Mountain. 
Less than a quarter mile to Lake Sunapee.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Fully furnished. 
Large living room with Fireplace, Cable TV, VCR. 
Full kitchen with microwave & coffeepot.  
All linens, towels, blankets available (self-service laundry).  
Washer & Dryer in basement.

Activities and Attractions

Here are some of the area's items of interest and attractions. 
 
Winter activities include skiing, sledding, ice skating, or ice  
fishing. 
 
Hiking and Picnicking on Mt. Kearsarge with wonderful sunsets! Easy  
0.5 mile hike up Mt. Kearsarge from the Warner side. A more  
difficult  
but rewarding 1.75 mile hike up on the new Barlow Trail on the  
Wilmot  
side. Another nice hike is on the Kidder Brook or Morgan pond trail  
near Twin Lake Villa just outside of New London. There are also  
hiking trails on Mt. Sunapee, with the Andrew Brook trail leading  
past Lake Solitude, and ending with a breathtaking view from the  
summit. 
 
More Hiking: Hike our new Sunapee, Ragged, Kearsarge Greenway.  
Trails  
that connect all three of our local mountains.  
 
Ice-Skating: Available on our inns with lakes and ponds, and in  
downtown New London. Bring your own skates, or rent them in New  
London or Eastman. 
 
Snowmobiling: Bring your snowmobile and travel on snowmobile trails  
in the area that connect to the statewide system. 
 
Snowshoeing: You can rent them at various locations, and even take  
snowshoe tours at some of the ski resorts. 
 
Sleigh Rides: Information on sleigh rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides  
and other winter activities are available at many local  
establishments. 
 
Downhill Skiing: Mt Sunapee Resort, Ragged Mountain, Pats Peak,  
Eastman, and Whaleback.  
 
Cross Country Skiing: Norsk in New London and Eastman in Grantham. 
 
Tubing/Night Skiing: Available at Whaleback and Pat’s Peak Ski Areas.

Vacation Rental Rates

Rates for the winter are $450 per weekend - Friday night thru  
Sunday - 
 plus deposit. 
Pets are welcome for an additional $50. 
Weeks in the summer are available by request, $750 per week plus  
deposit.
