Vacation Rental Description

offers exceptional accommodations and unmatched ocean views. 
 
Located just 30 minutes from historic downtown Charleston, on Kiawah's 
East Beach, our premier Windswept Villa, the "Penthouse", is just 
steps away from the Atlantic Ocean and within a short walking distance 
to the Night Heron Park, the (oh so elegant) Sanctuary hotel, shopping 
and many restaurants. 
 
Located on the top two floors of Windswept (4th and 5th), the 
Penthouse offers incredible sweeping ocean views throughout the villa. 
Not to be outdone by the view, real emphasis has been placed on 
comfort--with custom drapery, designer furniture and colors, original 
oil paintings granite countertops throughout and wireless internet 
access. Step out onto the living room balcony and enjoy the stunning 
180-degree ocean views and refreshing sea breezes. 
 
Upstairs, the Penthouse Master Bedroom #1 offers superb views of the 
ocean from the king-sized bed. And oh, every bed in this villa is sooo 
comfy! Each bed is complete with pillow-top mattresses, 
Egyptian-cotton sheets, feather pillows, feather comforters and duvet 
covers. This suite includes a 27" plasma flatscreen tv/dvd, a large 
bathroom with a double vanity, deluxe tile shower and walk-in closet. 
 
Just down the hall, the Penthouse Master Bedroom #2 also offers superb 
views of the ocean from the king-sized bed. The suite includes a 27" 
plasma flatscreen tv/dvd, an even larger master bathroom with a double 
vanity, deluxe tile shower and over-sized garden tub. 
 
Downstairs, in the third bedroom there are two twin beds. Adjacent to 
the bedroom is a bathroom with a shower/tub combination and a double 
vanity. 
 
This villa is also fully furnished with original oil paintings, 
handwoven wool rugs, washer/dryer, utensils, pots and pans, stainless 
steel appliances, CD player (filled with CDs) and wireless internet 
access (just bring your laptop). The beach is just an elevator ride away!

Activities and Attractions

Kiawah Island has it all for a family or golf vacation.  
 
Beach: Swim in the calm waters of the Atlantic or simply stroll  
Kiawah’s incredible 10-mile long unspoiled beach from one end to the  
other even at high tide. Watch the seagulls fly overhead and the  
pelican dive for their dinner while the dolphin play in the water  
and the shrimp boats troll in the distance.  Bring your fishing pole  
and try your luck at surf fishing.  
 
Biking, Hiking and Wildlife Viewing: Kiawah has over 30 miles of  
safe, paved paths which meander through woods and past lagoons.   
These are home to alligators, turtles, deer, egrets, herons, and a  
host of other shore birds.
