The two-bedroom apartment includes the entire ground level of a newly restored 1930's beach house. The space is full of many nice details you will surely appreciate... attractive and comfortable furnishings, plush beds, and plenty of charm! The apartment has living room, kitchen with breakfast bar and dining table that seats 4, full bath with shower (no tub), 2 queen bedrooms, laundry, central heat and air, furnished patio with gas grill. The homeowner spent years renovating the property, being careful to preserve the old island character of the original structure. She lives on the top two floors of the house, and will be happy to assist you during your visit. Island Retreat is convenient to everything on Tybee! You'll be staying just a short walk to the beach, fishing pier and pavilion, the marina on the back river, and many restaurants, bars, and shops. Handicap friendly (ground level, not ADA compliant). This property has wireless / WIFI internet connection.
