Vacation Rental Description

Three bedroom self catering accommodation with private entrance 
suitable for a family holiday, group accomodation or a relaxing 
getaway at a budget price with bed and breakfast provisions included.

Just 20 minutes from the Sydney CBD, Forestville is a quiet Northern 
suburb of Greater Sydney NSW in the Warringah municipality and is 
surrounded by the Garigal National Park.

Ideal for those who want to escape the city yet remain close enough 
to enjoy all its attractions without stress.

Relax and enjoy the spa and sparkling swimming pool in a tropical 
garden setting. Go bushwalking in the nearby Garigal National Park, 
enjoy water sports or picnics on the Middle Harbour Sydney waterways 
and beaches. It's a great idea to bring your bicycles as there are 
many cycling and walking tracks in the area.

You can head off to the "big smoke" for a day of shopping, business 
or sightseeing and indulge in the cosmopolitan and upbeat 
entertainment of Sydney City by night returning safely and easily to 
your private retreat accommodation in Forestville.

Vacation Rental Amenities

This is an exceptional home in a great location that is very quiet 
and boasts its own separate entrance upstairs for guests. There is 
also a spa and swimming pool for the use of guests at no charge. 
Plenty of parking is available if you are bringing a car.

Three Bedroom Apartment Accommodation:
Ideal self contained accommodation for families and groups, only 
share the apartment with other guests by agreement, otherwise it is 
all yours.

The living room opens onto a large deck which overlooks the swimming 
pool and the Garigal National Park.

There are no carpets, making the rooms ideal for allergy sufferers. 
The furnishings are also child-friendly.

B&B Guestroom types:
Jan's Forestville Bed and Breakfast has three guest rooms available -
 a queen size room, a twin share and a single room.

Guest Bedrooms:
All rooms have been recently refurbished and include ceiling fans, 
new beds and new linen.

Tea, coffee and light breakfast are included with the room rate. 

Facilities:
A fully equipped kitchen is available for the exclusive use of 
guests. The kitchen appliances are new and include fridge, 
dishwasher, gas stove and oven.

Other facilities provided free of charge include an iron, 
television, video, clock radio, toaster and hair dryer.

Jan's B and B provides travellers with fantastic accommodation at a 
budget price.

Breakfast provisions are supplied and Jan is happy to stock the 
fridge with your favorites.

Activities and Attractions

Forestville
Located in the Warringah Municipality, Forestville is part of 
Greater Sydney in New South Wales Australia.

Forestville is surrounded by natural wonders. To the north and north 
west is Garigal National Park which includes the Davidson State Park 
Recreation Area. The park is 2203 hectares and includes many walking 
tracks, one of which is only 200 metres from Jan's B&B. The National 
Park is a great place for bushwalking, picnics and bush sightseeing. 
Both Middle Harbour Creek and Carroll Creek flow through the park to 
Middle Harbour.

To the south is Middle Harbour a part of the spectacular Sydney 
Harbour and here you will find boating, beaches, fishing and other 
water recreation activities, all only a short distance from the 
Sydney City CBD. There is also a marina with boat hire and public 
baths.

Forestville is close to the city, avoid the traffic and leave the 
car at Jan's Bed & Breakfast, and use public transport. A bus trip 
to the city is 15 - 20 minutes, or drive to the local station and 
catch a train into Sydney City CBD.

Only a short drive from Forestville you can see some of the most 
famous beaches in the world, which run from Manly to Barrenjoey 
Heads.

For animal lovers, Forestville is home to the NSW Wildlife 
Information & Rescue Service (WIRES). It is located in the grounds 
of the Forestville Public School. Wires annually rescues over 56,000 
native animals ranging from koalas to penguins. Regular patients at 
the WIRES veterinary hospital include ringtail and brush-tailed 
possums, rainbow lorikeets and currawongs, most of which have been 
involved in car accidents. They are also often involved in rescuing 
native animals from bushfire devastated areas.

Sydney
Sydney abounds in tourist attractions and entertainment. The largest 
city in Australia, Sydney is a cosmopolitan metropolis and caters to 
just about every taste and whim.

Amongst the many tourist attractions are the world famous Sydney 
Harbour Bridge and Opera House, both with spectacular views of 
Sydney Harbour. For the fit, tours across the Sydney Harbour Bridge 
arches are now available - offering a once in a lifetime thrill and 
panoramic views of Sydney Harbour and the city centre.

Sydney is a sprawling city with the most famous beaches in the world 
to the east and the rugged Blue Mountains to the west. The Blue 
mountains offer unsurpassed natural scenery and many bush walks.

Getting around Sydney is easy with a modern rail and ferry services 
and regular bus routes covering all major areas. Take the ferry from 
Circular Quay to Manly and enjoy some of the best views of Sydney 
Harbour.

Although only a little over 200 years old there is plenty of history 
in Sydney and a visit to the Rocks should not be missed.

Shoppers could spend a lifetime in Sydney and not be bored. From the 
luxury fashion houses to the many markets, every shopper's needs are 
catered for.

Eating out in a multi-cultural city like Sydney NSW Australia is a 
must. From Chinese food through Greek, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese 
virtually every taste is catered for. Australia also has its own 
unique food styles and a visit to Doyle's is a must for the seafood 
lovers.
