Key Largo is sandwiched between the Everglades National Park to the west and the fish-covered Coral formations of the North America's only living reef. Six miles offshore in the National Marine Sancturary is the wreck of the Spiegel Grove, the backbone for a new coral reef. Key is a Diving Capital. Bring or rent diving or snorkeling equipment and arrangements are easily made for unique underwater experiences.
Fishing, Fishing, Fishing: you can go after sailfish offshore, bonefish along the Atlantic shallows, Mahi Mahi, (Dolphin Fish) just off the reef and in the Gulfstream and several varieties of Snappers and Groupers along with the challene of Tarpon fishing.
Enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the Florida Bay from the community dock or under the tiki hut. Life is restful and so so good! Take a deep breath and enjoy---that is what Moon Bay , the Stepping Stone to the Keys and South Florida is all about.
