Great House/Owner..BAD Golf Course Location

This house is awesome. Has wonderful outdoor space, a great pool/hot tub, nice indoor space and kitchen and has everything you need within a close proximity.

The only downside to this property is that it's located right on a golf course and is app 200-220 yards from the tee box (on the right side) on a slight dogleg right. For any golfers who are reading this, you know exactly what this means. For any non golfers, this means you get balls flying through the yard all day. And to give the property credit, there are some pretty large trees AND 40" nets between the house and the course but even with these obstructions, we had one to two balls come crashing down into the seating area (where we spent most of our time during the day) per day. Not the most comforting thing when you're trying to relax and when you have six total kids playing in the yard.

This and this alone would make me not stay at this property again which is a shame because again, the house and owner were both GREAT!

STAY INSIDE!!!

I RENTED THIS HOME FOR 4 MONTHS IN HOPES TO ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE POOL AND BBQ AREA AND WAS TOLD BY THE OWNER THAT I COULD EVEN HAVE MY GRANDKIDS OUTSIDE BY THE SWING AREA, BUT WHAT SHE DIDNT TELL ME IS THAT IT IS A WAR ZONE OF FLYING GOLD BALLS FROM 6AM TO 6 PM, IT WAS SO BAD THAT I COULDNT GO OUTSIDE BETWEEN THOSE HOURS I TRYED EVERYTHING TO PROTECT ME AND MY TWO SMALL DOGS I COMPLAINED AND EVEN UPON PUTTING UP A NET THE BALLS FLEW IN RIGHT AT US, THEN SHE ADDMITED THAT SHE WOULD NEVER HAVE HER GRANDAUGHTER OUTSIDE PLAYING THAT IT WAS TO DANGEROUS. SO BE CAREFULL WHEN YOU RENT THIS HOUSE ITS OKAY IF YOU DONT GO OUTSIDE IN THE DAYLIGHT.

Our Best Vacation Rental Experience Ever

We rented this property for an extended stay and found it did not lack a single amenity. Arriving just before Christmas, we were welcomed by an enormous tree (lit and decorated) and the "halls" were decked beautifully - we were astounded by the attention paid to details. We hosted our family for the holidays and felt right at home doing so. The large kitchen is perfectly equipped to handle entertaining guests. No scrambling to find extra forks in this home.

Every room in the house is as you see in the photos in the listing. Beautifully decorated and very well appointed. This home did not feel like any rental we had ever stayed in -- it felt like someone's home.

Coming from a cold climate - we live to be outdoors in the winter. Not a problem here as even on chilly nights as the covered patio has several heaters and the outdoor furnishings are comfy and of excellent quality.

Because we stayed so long, we were working remotely (when we had to) and found the home well suited for tele-commuting as well. We also opted to have the cleaning service come while we stayed - the cleaning people were respectful, pleasant and efficient. Everyone we dealt with associated with the property (the pool cleaning service, etc) was outstanding.

The location was perfect for us. Its a quiet, pretty neighborhood and yet we found everything we needed on a regular basis (grocery, Target, Starbucks) very close by. It is equally convenient to go into Old Town Scottsdale for a more lively scene or to go out to explore Saguaro Lake. The nearby golf courses we found to be friendly, a decent challenge and reasonably priced.

Recommended for: families with young children, girls getaway, pet-friendly, romantic getaway
