Caribbean Beach Resort Bungalow in Curacao

Huis van Johannes is a 100 square meter two-bedroom and two-bathroom bungalow located in a development called Caribbean Beach Resort and is located 3 km west of Willemstad.  The gated development has a swimming pool and sits atop a hill that overlooks the Caribbean Sea.  Just down the hill are the Marriott, Hilton and Floris Suite hotels, restaurants and beaches.

The bungalow has vaulted ceilings up to 16 feet high in all of the rooms; the living room, dining room and kitchen are openly connected and whose walls are tastefully covered in vibrant-colored Venetian plaster.  The unit features original artwork by the Island’s Nena Sanchez.  The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, closets and an en suite bathroom and access to the wrap-around porch via sliding glass doors.  The master bath has an instant water heater in the shower.  The guest bedroom has two twin beds and an armoire.  The bungalow has an air conditioning unit and a ceiling fan in the living room and in each of the bedrooms.  The kitchen has a large refrigerator / freezer, microwave, gas oven / stove, coffee maker and laundry center (washer / dryer) and is equipped with cookware, dining ware, blender, utensils, glassware and linens (sheets, bath towels, beach towels) for up to four persons.

Plenty of beaches from 5 to 45 minutes all along the southern coast.  Golf, snorkeling, diving, Ostrich Farm, Hato Caves, Seaquarium, large selection of restaurants, casinos, historic Kura Hulanda downtown with museum.  Windward side of island features Shete Boka National Park and Christoffel Park.

Two-week minimum stay is required.  Price includes water and electricity equal to 250 kwh per week.    Low season is from June through October.  High season is November through May except for Holiday season December 20 through January 6.
