authentic Fernandina beach house on North Beach in Amelia Island

This house allows you to truly experience Fernandina Beach - it is like stepping back in time!

The house is not quite ON the beach - there is a sand road in front of the house which is used by cars - but don't let that deter you from this wonderful and for the most part- remote  part of the beach.

The house has an open living room/dining area and 4 bright bedrooms all with ceiling fans branch off the living room - 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on either side of the main room and hardwood floors throughout.

The kitchen is at the far end of the main room, separated from the dining table by a small bar area.  While it is small and compact, it has everything you need to cook up your favorite meal - but be prepared to wash dishes as there is no dishwasher here! 

There is an outside deck off the kitchen with some chairs and a gas grill - this is a real suntrap in the afternoons.  And of course, in the front of the house is a very cute porch - open to the wonderful sea air and sound of the waves - you can sit here on the rocking chairs and watch the dolphins put on a show for you.

This is a typical older Florida beach house - with lots of it's own charm and personality.  There is dish tv in the main room with and just to be somewhat "modern" there is wifi - but no phone.  Come and stay here to get away from it all - you will love the "old time feel."

You will find more than enough to do here on our island - you will wish you could stay longer!
