The exclusive Summit neighborhood contains rare single-family homes located at Durango Mountain Resort and offers unsurpassed views of the majestic Needle Mountain range from every room. This is the only single-family home at The Summit neighborhood available for vacation rental.
Our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom, 2,900 square foot custom home was built in 2007 and backs up to National Forest land. This amazing house is adjacent to Purgatory Village and just a short walk to the main skier village or you can call the free on-demand shuttle to pick you up.
Hiking trails abound in millions of square miles of the San Juan National Forest.Explore mountain biking, backpacking, fly-fishing, hiking, snowmobiling and nearly every other imaginable high alpine recreational pursuit directly out the front door of this luxury mountain home.
Enjoy views of the incomparable Needles Mountain range off the spacious deck as you contemplate ascension to above 14,000 feet, or as you simply take another sip of coffee or cocktail and plan your adventures for another day.
The great room, which flows into the gourmet kitchen, provides the perfect setting for entertaining and family gatherings.
The main deck, running the width of the home, provides extra entertaining space and a great spot to enjoy the morning sunrise or the evening alpenglow as it highlights the Needles. The covered deck outside the kitchen makes year-round grilling a pleasure.
The emphasis on quality will not go unnoticed, with high end kitchen appliances, massive stone work, hardwood floors as well as custom slate and tilethroughout.
For an optional 8% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub, gym andlockers.
Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (rafting trips, horsebackriding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, lift tickets, sleigh rides,snowmobile tours etc.) activities as well as the Durango/Silverton Train.
