The house is a beautifully finished old farmhouse conversion in
the very centre of Barga. It is in a quiet street set back with a
small garden where you can eat out or relax in the sun.
The house has maintained all the original features such as
chestnet beams and terracotta floor tiles. Downstairs there is a
large living room area with the kitchen dining area. There is a
lovely open fireplace which can be used in the winter months for
cosy log fires and for roasting chestnuts which can be collected
in the hills nearby, or if this is too strenuous from the charming
fruit shop next door which is the oldest in Barga. There is a
stunning spiral staircase that leads to the upper part of the
house. There are two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and
the other with twin beds. There is also a shower room on this
floor. The house has central heating. It is very much a family
home and not typical rental accomodation. This is evident from
the quality of the furnishings and all the 'extras' that are in the
house that make it a home.

The house has a washing machine, stereo, open log fire place,
central heating. The kitchen is very well equipped. All bed linen
and towels are provided.
Shops are very close by within walking distance and although in
the centre of the village the house is very quiet and private as it is
set back from the road.

Barga is ideal for those that enjoy the countryside. It is perfect for
hillwalking and cycling. There is a beautiful swimming pool
nearby and plenty of fantastic restaurants and bars within
walking distance. It is a great place for a peaceful and relaxing
holiday at anytime of year.
