Our family is going away for several weeks during the summer and are looking to rent out our apartment.  Note: there is a ONE WEEK MINIMUM.  We don't rent by the night. 

Newly renovated, u ber-spacious1,500 square feet duplex in Park Slope.
- 2 large bedrooms (1 queen-sized bed; 3 twin beds)
- 2 full bathrooms
- Enormous eat-in kitchen / dining room

- Just 3 minutes from the subway that can get you to the Village in 20 minutes.
- 15 minute walk to Smith Street restaurants
- 3 minute walk to 5th Avenue restaurants / shops
- 15 minute walk to Prospect Park

Comfortable and Convenient

We needed a place to stay when we returned from our vacation to our condo, which was in no condition for a family of four to live while under construction. Found this wonderful brownstone for rental that night and Adam was very accommodating and gracious to allow us to move in the following day. This is a home away from home! The two story home is clean, comfortable and spacious. Had to keep my two year old from constantly going up the stairs but other than that, the stay here was a lifesaver for us. We loved the bathrooms and the boys room! The home is also close to the R train and right next door to Sheep Station (new restaurant find for us) that is now one of our regular spots to hang out. And not to mention that they have fantastic neighbors that live on the first floor. Thank you!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, sight seeing, tourists without a car

Better than the pictures!

First time we tried this type of vacation rental and I was extremely pleased with the result. Location is great, easy walk to subway, shops, grocery stores, cleaners, Prospect Park. The home is very comfortable and well appointed. The owner provided excellent service and was really quite gracious in making us feel welcome. There are nearby eateries for Vegan, Japanese, Halal, Australian and many other cuisines. If you like to cook there is a very nice kitchen with a great dining nook. We had several excellent home cooked family meals there comfortably seating five adults. There is a nice wine shop and an excellent brew pub within an easy 10 to 15 minute stroll. Subway service to Atlantic and Fourth is excellent, easy hop into Manhattan or out to Coney Island, where ever you want to go. Major cross streets on either end of the block make grabbing a cab real easy. The back yard is beautiful and restful. The neighborhood is very nice. The description provided by the owner was accurate, but somewhat understated in my view. Plenty of floor space, raised back patio overlooking the garden, lots of natural light, trees. You can spend more, but its hard to imagine that you could get a better value than this property.

Recommended for: families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

We had never stayed in a home. We had always stayed in hotels. Based on our experience with Adam, we will stay in homes now. Our stay was so much more relaxed and enjoyable. Our dealings with Adam were very professional and reliable. His home was everything he said it was in his advertisement. His home was beautiful and comfortable. The neighborhood had many shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The subway was about 8 minutes away. The gorgeous Prospect Park was within a mile. A definite winner!

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car
