This well appointed three bedroom Wintergreen golf course home in the Stoney Creek valley subdivision has beautiful wood floors, a fully equipped kitchen with stainless appliances, granite counters,  large master bath with Jetted Tub, all bed & bath linens, 46 inch LCD HDTV, 32 inch LCD TV in Master, Wireless Internet, fireplace with wood provided, handicap accessibility with a ramp in the garage, furnished back deck, charcoal grill, front porch with rocking chairs, horseshoes, croquet & garage with door opener. 

The house is located on the Shamokin golf course in the Stoney Creek valley of Wintergreen Resort.   Stoney Creek is conveniently located near the lake, pools, clubhouse, shops, brew pubs, wineries & restaurants plus more golf than the mountain with 27 holes. 

The guests of this house will enjoy the benefits of Guests of Members.  These benefits include access to the outdoor pools in the Summer, exclusive access to Lake Monocan on Saturdays and access to the Indoor Pool, Hot Tub and Fitness Center on the mountain. 

If you are looking at other rentals be sure to ask if they provide Guest of Member passes or you will miss out on the fun!

Relax
Cozy up by the fireplace or relax on the back deck surrounded by nature.  Sit back and watch your family play horseshoes in the front yard from the rocking chairs on the front porch.  A short walk to the end of the street will take you to the nature trail where you can explore the banks of Stoney Creek.

When the course is quiet feel free to take a leisurely walk on the golf course or take advantage of the opportunity to work on your golf game accessed from the home's private path.

Resort Activities

Lake Monocan the 20-acre lake and park is located in Stoney Creek in the valley, staffed daily with a lifeguard, Memorial Day-Labor Day, weather permitting. Snack bar, paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, fishing equipment, standard road bike rentals, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court, sandy beach, lounge chairs, picnic area and outdoor charcoal grills are available.   Last year they also had a water trampoline that my kids loved.  There are also two separate Swimming Pools located in valley. 

On the mountain they have bungee jumping, bounce houses,  zip-lining, a mechanical bull, Wii games, pool tables and a kids camp. The online readers of The Washington Post have twice named Wintergreen as the 'Best Ski Resort'.  The resort offers Virginia's largest all-season tubing park along with 6 chairlifts and 2 extremely fast '6 pack' lifts so you can spend more time on the slopes. Tubing, ice skating, Zip-lining and a kids activity/arcade are also available. 

Wintergarden Spa & Fitness Center with indoor pool and hot tub is accessible for a fee to guests of our house because we will provide you with Guest of Member passes.

The resort also has Tennis courts in the valley and on the mountain along with several Resort dining options. 

• Weekday nights are available for $200 per night (Sunday - Thursday)
• Weekend nights are available for $250 per night (Friday - Saturday)
• Weekly rates are $1250 for non-holiday weeks and $1400 for holiday weeks.
