vacation rental description

Our three bedroom house overlooking Penticton is less than a 5 minute drive to beach and amenities. It features a fantastic panoramic view of lakes, city and valley from almost every room in the house and a large deck off the living room/dining room with BBQ and offers 2.35 acres of privacy.

We are child and pet friendly with two playgrounds and a park nearby and more than an acre of fenced yard for your pet(s) and children to play in.

Begin your day with coffee and breakfast on the deck, watching the quail and other wildlife while enjoying the fantastic view.  Then head off to the beach, or float the river channel, or perhaps enjoy some breathtaking scenery while hiking/biking/climbing or golfing.  Or perhaps spend the day visiting some of the surrounding world class wineries or spend an hour picking some fruit at one of the local orchards for breakfast the next morning.  Then, after a day in the Okanagan sunshine, return home for cocktails on the deck while cooking dinner on the BBQ.  Relax on the deck while the sun goes down and the city lights come on.  Or for a change, return to town to enjoy some of the wonderful activities taking place along Lakeshore Drive or just people watch while strolling along the beach promenade while deciding at which of our fine restaurants you will dine.

house rental amenities

We feature three bedrooms, two with Queen beds and one with either Queen bed, twin beds, or bunk beds.  Each bedroom has its own air conditioner for your comfort.  We offer free WiFi, TV, DVD player, movies, games, books, washer and dryer and a pool table.  A large deck with fantastic view and BBQ with propane is located off the living room/dining room.

All bedding, linens, towels, soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry soap, toilet paper, kitchen dishes, basic spices and condiments, and cleaning supplies are provided and included in your rental.

We will do our best to provide other amenities to make your stay enjoyable such as flotation devices for beach or channel floating, coolers and other picnic supplies, beach chairs if available, etc.

We would also be pleased to arrange wine tours upon request.

There is a park and playgrounds nearby.  The historic KVR Trail for walking, running, biking, roller blading or  horseback riding is within close proximity - you can see a portion of it from the deck.  Three golf courses and a driving/putting range are located within a five minute drive of the house.

Depending on timing and circumstances, transportation may be provided including pick-up at airport, transportation to beach, service as designated driver &/or childcare while you go out for dinner.
