Here goes my experience in PV at the beautiful Mayan Resort in the Marina. First and foremost I want to thank Janice for making this possible for us. She made all the accommodations for us and made the booking and check in headches a breeze. I went with 9 othe people and we all loved the resort, we had a blast in Puerto Vallarta. Everyone there was very nice to us and they went out of their way to service us. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the pool bar with Jose our server and "pollito' our bartender. The best part of our trip was the Canopy tour we went on so we definitely recommend it for everyone going to Puerto Vallarta. It's a 3 hour tour filled with a lot of adventure, great people and over 20 zip lines that run through the jungle. It ends with a nice mule ride to some Tequila tasting. By the way that is the best, smoothess Tequila any of us ever had. Overall it was a fun, exciting trip filled with a lot of great memories. We all are already planning our next trip to the Mayan resort for next year. So if you're going make sure you don't book our dates or book before we beat you to it. Once again thank you to Janice and the whole Mayan Resort staff that made this the best vacation ever.

We went to Puerto Vallarta, in July of 2011. We certainly enjoyed it. There are numerous things to do at the hotel. The pool is huge and really nice. The ocean is right there, and the beach is nice and sandy. We didn't spend much time on the beach actually. There was a pond/water system where you could go kayaking, within the hotel grounds. We took the local bus into town several times, shopping, going to other restaurants and walking around parts of the city. We also took several buses to another beach, for the day, and went on a long boat/snorkeling tour that was really fun.(Rum punch on board) There was also swimming with the dolphins and zip lining nearby, that Bruce and family did. So, there is obviously stuff to do at the Hotel/Resort and also away from it. The rooms were nice and big, and we liked that we could eat meals in the room too! The grounds were gorgeous, lots of tropical flowers, palm tree's etc. and iguana's hiding in the bushes and trees too. You should go!!
