The home offers one very private bedroom with a deck and a full size bed. The second and third bedroom each offer a queen size bed.

This home is perfect for families or a small group looking to explore the Central Oregon Coast. The Sea Lion Caves are 30 miles to the south and the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport is just 16 miles to the north. Hiking trails abound in the area and kayak rental is available in Waldport to explore the Alsea River.

After a day exploring the coast, guests can spend the evening relaxing by the firepit and star gazing or inside enjoying the board games provided.

This home has been in the Johns/Appleton family for most of its existance. The home was sold to another family when the Johns retired in 1958 but in 2002 it was purchased by the grandson (Appleton family) for the property to remain in the family for future generations to enjoy. Waldport is in a perfect location on the coast as it close to the shops and attractions of Newport but with a smaller population so you can enjoy the long sandy stretch of beach without the crowds. Tide pooling and crabbing are some of the activities that make Waldport a unqiue coastal vacation. It is also a close drive to the Sea Lion Caves and the sand dunes if you feel like venturing a little further south.
