Our family of 6 adults stayed in this house for 2 weeks in January. It is very clean, well maintained, beds comfortable, and nicely set up. The kitchen is fully equiped, with good appliances. The master bedroom is quite large with a huge bathroom. All the linens provided were of good quality.
It is just steps away from the wonderful Fairview Park, with miles of walking trails. The area is quiet and safe. Although this area is residential,all shopping is within a 10 minute drive. My suggestions would make this property even more attractive. The kitchen could use more wine glasses, a kettle and teapot. The living room does not have a coffee or end table. The heat is very uneven in January, cold on the main floor, warm on the second floor. The gas fireplace is not operational, and that would certainly help. A gas BBQ would also be an asset in the warm weather.
I would recommend this house, especially to families and anyone who likes to walk or hike. Newport Beach and Balboa are close, about 20 to 30 minutes by car, and 1 hour from downtown LA. Orange County Airport is only 20 minutes from the house.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing

my vacation was very enjoyable,enhanced by location where i was staying.The proximity to beaches and shopping was excellent. The location was very clean and properly prepped for our stay.There are many walking and biking trails as well.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
