Catherine’s Cottage is a 2 bedroom lower floor apartment of a newly renovated quaint home located in a middle-class business and residential area. We are close enough to have easy access to the local attractions and yet experience how real Bahamians live. You may even hear an occasional rooster crowing or dog barking!

A car is optional at Catherine’s Cottage. Taxi and bus service is convenient. Wendy’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken and the grocery store are all less than a 5 minute walk. Restaurants, pubs, fresh fish, Potter’s Cay’s markets and the bridge to Paradise Island are all within a 10 minute walk, and a 20 minute walk gets you into Paradise Island!

After a day of exploring you will enjoy retreating to Catherine’s Cottage. Our Cottage is walled-in and gated for your privacy and security. Our guests can relax in a Bahamian home-away-from-home that gives you all the amenities of a time share for less than the price of a square hotel room. The great room has flat screen TV, Blueray DVD player, Internet and a Queen size sofa bed. The dining table seats six. The Master Bedroom has a King size bed, the second bedroom has a Full size bed. All rooms have ceiling fans. The two bedrooms and the great room have new ductless air conditioning. You might be able to save enough money to pay for your vacation stay by cooking some of your meals in Catherine’s Cottage's newly redecorated and completely equipped kitchen. You get a full size refrigerator, electric range, microwave oven, dishwasher in addition to the dishes, cookware, cutlery, coffee pot, tea kettle and most of the other things you are likely to need to feel comfortable at home!    

There are so many things to do in the Bahamas, but whatever your reason for coming to The Bahamas, make the Catherine's Rental Cottage your home base.  Do you want to escape the rat race?
