Start with breath taking views of the Shawangunk Mountains and the iconic Skytop Tower searching the Wallkill Valley. Each of the bedrooms has a private bath and entrance. The rooms are well appointed front row seats to our spectacular views.
Located 90 miles from New York City in the Town of Gardiner, 6 miles south of New Paltz, in the heart of the Hudson Valley. Just about a 1 hour 45 minute drive from NYC or Albany and convenient by bus from the Port Authority to New Paltz or by train from Albany or New York.

The rooms are cozy and private with plenty of room to sit and enjoy your stay. You'll find robes and slippers handy while sipping coffee and watching the cliffs come to life each morning. Each room has a flat screen TV with free wifi and MP3 radios and alarm. The Common Room will serve as your prep room for the day's activities. Then return from your adventures, bring in your wet clothes, your skis, the mud, and the stories from your day. The hammock is a few steps away by our giant white oak.
Morning coffee, tea, juices and locally baked breads and muffins, plus assorted fruits will start your day. We'll find something healthy to place on your pillow when you return for bed. Coffee, tea, and munchies are always available.

Minutes to The Ranch Skydiving, minutes to Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Preserve, Gunks Climbing, the Tuthilltown Distillery, Whitecliff Vineyards, cross-country skiing, road biking, fishing, and world class skydiving. Yes, you can even jump safely out of an airplane; the airport is a 5 minute walk up the road. Enthusiastic is skydiver and pilot friendly; ask for info. We're also horse friendly so ask us about trails and overnight boarding.
Farming is a way of life in this neck of the woods. Farm stands and farmers markets, farm wineries and distilleries, dot the area. Spring kicks off festival season when apple trees blossom; summer in the Hudson Valley has great climbing, hiking, and canoeing while the autumn is all about pumpkins, changing colors, and apple picking. Winter (if it snows) transforms the Wallkill Valley into one of the most beautiful spots in the world. The white cliffs of the Gunks glisten just outside your bedroom window.
