The Eagle's Nest is like no other vacation retreat in Florida. Here to enjoy is the best Florida has to offer: the shores of the Gulf of Mexico at your doorstep, comfortable 3 bedroom 2 bath houses to relax in, and a wildlife paradise to be a part of!
Try out the best in flats or deep sea fishing. Bring your boat, or take advantage of the many area charters with a guide. If you don't have a boat you can still catch fish! Just bring a reel and rod. You can catch bait fish in the canal, then walk to the end of our long pier and catch trout and redfish! It's easy and fun! You can also bring a cast net and catch mullet from the pier.
Try your skill! Prepare the day's catch in the comfort of your own fully-equipped kitchen or dine in one of the fine restaurants nearby.
Sun on the deck, let the children play in the water, or go on a seashell expedition! If you're lucky you'll see an otter in the salt marsh or a racoon catching his lunch! Watch for the Bald Eagle to soar by...the other birds will tell you when he's coming!
At the end of a busy day, sit on the mezzanine deck or the front screened porch and watch the most beautiful sunset there is...at The Eagle's Nest.
