The Downtown Victorian Villa-Walk 2 Downtown,StateSt,BEACH! in Santa Barbara

You will love staying at the Downtown Victorian Villa!   It was built in 1905 and is full of Victorian details and charm.  There is unique Victorian architecture throughout!  There are many large windows and high ceilings in each room and hardwood floors in some rooms. 

The Downtown Victorian Villa has 6 bedrooms (1 bedroom is double, 500 sf with 2 beds in separate areas) and 3 full bathrooms (it will sleep up to 12 in 7 beds).

The Villa is so large that the 1st time I walked through it I got lost!!  It is meant to accommodate large groups of 12 guests.  Leave your car parked in the garage and walk everywhere!!  Downtown to shops and restaurants on State Street.  Walk to Paseo Nuevo shopping center just 4 blocks away!  You can also walk to the gorgeous East Beach with it's Sunday market along Cabrillo Blvd. and then stroll down the pier at the end of State Street!!

As you approach the Villa, walk up the steps onto the front porch and in through the front door where you will find the Princess Suite bedroom, the living room, the kitchen, the breakfast sun porch, a full bathroom and the large elegant dining room! 
 
The Princess Suite is on the left as you enter in through the front door.  It is a large beautiful room with a Queen bed and gorgeous furnishings.  It faces Bath St with a large bay window and 2 other large windows with high ceiling and hardwood floor.

Ascend the staircase to the 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the 2nd floor.   The Bay room faces Bath Sreet with Queen sized bed.   This room is large with a bay window, 2 more large windows and hardwood floor.  Go down the hall to the Yellow room.  This room is good sized and bright with 3 large windows.  It has a queen bed and carpeted floor.  The next room across the hall is the Pink room.  It is darker, good sized and has 2 large windows and carpeted floor with a Queen bed.  At the end of the hall you will find the Pee Wee Room.  This is a small room with a small window, carpeted floor and a double bed.  There are 2 full bathrooms on this floor.

There is a small balcony overlooking Bath St. where 2 can sit and share a glass of wine in the evening or have coffee in the morning!!

Take the next set of stairs up to the gorgeous Artist's Loft on the 3rd floor!  This room is approx 500 sf with 2 partially separated areas.  There is a queen bed in 1 area and a double bed in the other area.  This room has a small living room with tv, dining room table with 4 chairs, a large desk and chair, large dresser and a small refrigerator.

Back to the main house 1st floor:  Walk through the foyer, past the Princess Suite and enter into the bright and comfortable living room and beyond to the magical kitchen with the breakfast sun porch to the left.  From the living room enter through the beautiful antique doors on the left to the incredible dining room with seating for 12 and additional seating for 4 on the adjacent sun porch!  There is also a full bathroom on this floor with clawfoot tub / shower combo!

The kitchen is fully stocked with silverware, dishes, cups and glasses for 12!  There is also a blender, pots and pans, bowls and tupperware.

I live part time in the Guest House at the back of the property.

Linens provided:  All beds in each bedroom are fully made with high quality linens, blankets, pillows and comforters with covers.

There are washer and dryer in the garage with soap, laundry stain remover and fabric softener.  The garage has parking for 2 cars.  There are also 2 extra parking spots on the gravel across from the garage on the left side. 

In the remodeled kitchen with beautiful tile floor, new gorgeous counter tops, new sink, oversized chrome faucet and new cabinets, you will find a coffee maker, coffee, filters, sugar and creamer.

Each bathroom is stocked with a hair dryer under the sink along with spray cleaner, cleaning cloth and extra toilet paper.  You will find liquid hand soap, kleenex tissue, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and several sets of towels.

There is a charcoal BBQ in the garage.  Please pull it out to the side porch when using.  Charcoals, utensils and lighter fluid are supplied.

There are 4 TVs with exanded Cox cable viewing and 72 channels at the Villa!  1 in the living room in the armoire, 1 in the Princess Suite downstairs, 1 in the Bay room on the 2nd floor and 1 in the Artist's Loft on the 3rd floor!

Walk to:  Shopping at the famous Paseo Nuevo shopping center.  Walk to downtown and State Street with all the boutique shops and many great restaurants!  Don't forget the bars, pubs, dancing and more nightlife! 

Walk to East Beach with the beautiful sands, the pier with wine tasting, shops and restaurants.  If you are here on a Sunday you must walk to East Beach where there is a farmer's market all along Cabrillo Blvd.
