Casa Corteza welcomes you to enjoy the peace and tranquility that makes up our paradise Located on the pacific coast of the Nicoya Peninsula .

For those people that like to get away and relax, couples that surf and want to get away, families with children, and Honey mooners looking to have privacy and tranquility to themselves.

We provide 2 bedrooms on the upstairs floor with their own Ocean view, a bathroom and common area that can be utilized as an other bedroom.

On the lower level you will find a big master bath with Hot water shower, and a full Kitchen.

On our front Porch we have hammocks and rocking chairs to relax, read a book in or take a siesta watching the waves breaking on the outside reef below. 

The house itself is Twenty years old, and built out of a super dense wood called Corteza. Nicknamed Iron wood, Corteza is said to be so hard that termites would break their teeth trying to eat it.
