Vacation Rental Description

This private Alexander home is for the seasoned traveler who prefers 
more than just a hotel room.  Beautifully remodeled preserving its 
unique Palm Springs character, it is perfect for your vacation or 
corporate hospitality suite.  The fountain behind the entry gate 
gurgles its welcome.  Inside, you will discover a relaxing warm 
environment with a simple palette of natural materials, antiques and 
unfussy rustic elegance.  The paintings and artifacts relate to the 
scenic local area and its Native American history.

For simple meals or elaborate entertaining, the fully-appointed 
kitchen is well-stocked, including complementary coffee and cooking 
spices.  Sink into Ralph Lauren down couches, or cozy beds with down 
pillows and 420-thread count linens. Mirrored closets, bathrooms 
with towels, soap, shampoo and hair dryers.

Natural wood ceilings throughout and 4 ceiling fans.  42" plasma 
HDTV in master bedroom and 42" plasma HDTV with surround sound in 
living area.  Whole-house music system w/ iPod hook up and cable 
music channels. The saltillo tile floor flows from the interior to 
the pool terrace through wide-open French doors creating a seamless 
indoor-outdoor transition.  Instant serenity is accomplished by the 
comfortable interior and the way the outdoors seems to be part of 
the inner experience of the house. Coupled with stunning views of 
the rugged peaks of the San Jacinto mountains (snow-capped at 
times), this getaway has natural beauty inside and out.

The long elegantly curved pool (heated October thru May, cost 
included) stretches across the back of the property offering privacy 
which cannot be matched by any condo.  Plenty of deck space with 
patio furniture and chaises.  A 5+ person, 30-jet spa with lounge 
and CD player is nearby.  The pool side cabana is air conditioned w/ 
cable TV, iPod speakers, and queen sofabed.

Enjoy the convenience of a personal well-stocked office with 
computer, color printer and fax. Connected to our WiFi network, you 
can conduct business by the pool and no one will know you are not 
slaving at your desk in the high rise. Set on a very private, 
quarter-acre parcel in a quiet residential neighborhood this single-
level home is tranquil and inspiring. Retreat, create, and be 
inspired by the desert solitude and beauty.

Most are surprised and delighted when they arrive to find such a 
restful home away from home.  This mid-century property with its own 
comfortable decor, is architecturally unique to this area, in a 
tourist-free location, yet only blocks away from Palm Springs' 
greatest attractions and restaurants.  One can't help but fantasize

Restrictions:  Absolutely No Parties and No Smoking.  No Wood In 
Fireplace.  Forfeiture of entire security deposit for violations.  
Home is in quiet residential neighborhood.  Smoke will ruin art and 
leave odor in fabrics and wood beams and ceilings.  Responsible 
party must be 27 and present during stay.

Activities and Attractions

Plan to arrive by Thursday and enjoy Palm Springs' downtown 
area "Village Fest" where every Thursday night Palm Canyon Drive is 
transformed into a bustling street fair. Artists, craftsmen, food 
vendors, musicians and entertainers team up to bring you an evening 
of old-fashioned good times.  This event provides some great people 
watching, as well.

Join us for "First Friday On North Palm Canyon", 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., 
(every month, year-round), between Tachevah and Amado Road, 
featuring entertainment, food and fun, where more than 50 antique 
furnishings and art stores remain open into the late evening.

Vacation Rental Rates

Winter/Spring: (Jan 2 - Jun 17) $325/night; $1800/week
Summer: (Jun 18 - Sept 30)      $325/night; $1600/week
Fall: (Oct 1 - Dec 17)          $325/night; $1800/week 

Included:  All utilities AND heated pool (October thru April).

SAVINGS:  All weekly rates are greatly reduced!
Due to high utility costs year-round (a/c or pool heat) daily rate 
remains the same year-round.

Booking Deposit: 50% of total.  Balance due 30 days before arrival.
11.5% bed tax.
$150 Non-Refundable Cleaning Fee
$750 Refundable Security Deposit (No Violations)
Regularly - 3-night minimum.
Holidays - ask about minimum days and rates.
