'Blue Noodle' Oceanside Beach House: 3 houses from the Beach in Beach Haven

Enjoy the ocean from this clean and spacious 4+ bedroom air-conditioned home only 3 houses from the beach at a lifeguard staffed location. Relax in the bright and open living room and eat in  kitchen, and enjoy family gatherings around the oversize dining room table in the great room or in the large back yard. The beach house, named after the family's old wooden fishing boat, is available year-round, and we are so blessed that it was not damaged at all from Hurricane Sandy. The Blue Noodle has 9 beds with new mattresses, so your family and friends can enjoy the fabulous Jersey Shore together:

• Piping Plover Room on the first floor has a queen bed
• Sandpiper Room on the first floor has two twin beds
• Skimmer Room  on the second floor has a queen and twin bed, table and chairs
• Egret Room on the second floor has a queen and twin bed, table and chairs
• Great Room on the first floor has two twin beds in the back

The Blue Noodle is air conditioned and heated for enjoyment year round, and comes fully equipped with everything you will need, including cable TV, wireless internet access, telephone, DVD, wii, and a variety of board games. The house also has one full bath, two half baths and a refreshing hot-water outdoor shower.  Amenities also include washer and dryer, plenty of sheets and towels, updated kitchen with fridge, icemaker, dishwasher, microwave, convection oven, silverware and dishes, pots and pans, coffee maker, blender and toaster.

The large private fenced in back yard has a large deck, dining and lounge chairs, gas grill, shed with hot-water outdoor shower, bins with beach chairs and toys, and is a great place to read a book or play with kids. There is also parking for 4 cars in the front and side of the house. We provide 6 summer beach chairs and badges at the beginning of the season, and more badges can be easily purchased as needed.  

The sun drenched beach house is big enough for large family gatherings, and cozy enough for a romantic getaway. Options are also available for temporary membership to the Spray Beach Yacht Club (a short walk 9 blocks away) and use of a single or double kayak, floating swimming dock and covered deck to watch beautiful sunsets over the bay.

The Blue Noodle is three houses from the ocean and a glorious wide white sand beach which is rated one of the top beaches in the USA. Enjoy fishing, crabbing, clamming, sailing, kayaking, surfing, and other water sports as well as beautiful nature preserves nearby.  We are located in a quiet residential area yet walking or biking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, shops, bike and boat rentals, fishing holes, tennis courts, miniature golf, Fantasy Island Amusement Park and Arcade and Thundering Surf Water Slide so you can enjoy many diversions. Also nearby are a local Surflight Theater, art galleries, massage and yoga, Victorian homes, and concerts in Beach Haven's central park.

Search for Atlantic Avenue and 29th Street in Beach Haven NJ on Google maps to see just how close the Blue Noodle is to the ocean and the bay, and then come to enjoy all she has to offer. There are also sunset cruises and excursions to Atlantic City. Or you might also enjoy the Lighthouse at the North end of the island, where you can join a party fishing boat, explore the art museum or enjoy the shops at Viking Village. There are also wonderful golf courses just off the island. The Blue Noodle is only 45 minutes from Atlantic City, 90 minutes from the Philadelphia Airport and 2 hours from the Newark Airport.

Weekly rates (with discounts for multiple weeks:

• July, August: $3,100 (weekly minimum except around July 4th)
• Early June $2,000, Late June $2,500 (weekly minimum)
• May, September $1,200
• March, April, October $1,000
• January, February, November, December (to be negotiated)

Weekly rentals only during the summer, Saturday 3pm to Saturday 11am, with multiple week discounts available. Friday checkins are usually available from September through May. We will consider weekend or mid-week rentals in spring, fall or winter only. Until confirmed, rates are subject to change. This is a non-smoking no-pet house.

Please include the names and AGES of those who would be staying in the house and other informaiton about your family or group when inquiring about this rental. All minors must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian. The Blue Noodle is not available for high school or young adult groups under 25 years old, or for parties.

Refundable reservation/security deposit of $500 per week is required to lock in your dates, with the balance of the rental fee due 2 months before your rental date. Security deposit will be cashed and then refunded within 30 days of your departure if everything is left in satisfactory condition.
