Serene Shores Private Vacation Home Rental on Dam Lake in Eagle River, WI, just Southwest of downtown Eagle River on the Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes.  This is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bath private home in a secluded area being the last home on a dead-end road on the South shore of Dam Lake.  Dam Lake is the largest lake on the Sugar Camp Chain. The Sugar Camp Chain of 5 lakes is in the American Legion State Forest and consists of Dam Lake, Sand Lake, Stone Lake, Echo Lake and Chain Lake for a total of 2300 acres of water to explore and play in.  The home will comfortably sleep up to 10 people and is perfect for the family looking for total privacy or for friends and families to share a vacation together. The master bedroom has a king bed and private full bath. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs; one with a full bed and the other one with a full bed and two twin beds. In addition there is a queen size sleeper sofa sleep in the living room.  There is also a very large laundry room.  The home has a  private pier with a 14' fishing boat and motor included and has 200' of sandy shoreline for excellent swimming.  Winter lodging in this home is ideal for snowmobilers who prefer privacy and returning to a quiet peaceful setting after a long day on the trails or would also like to enjoy some ice fishing. There is easy access to the lake for both snowmobiling and ice fishing down this house's private boat ramp. Snowmobile from your door onto hundreds of miles of the best groomed and marked trails in the country, as the Eagle River Headwaters/SnoEagle Trail, the St. Germain Bo-Boen trail and Sugar Camp trail (the popular Trail #15) all merge at Dam Lake.   If you don't own snowmobiles, we have a list of rental agencies in the area and some will deliver right to the house. Also, check for details on our long-term reduced Winter rental rate. Leave your trailers, sleds and gear. Take away the hassle of trailering in the Winter and make our home your home for the Winter. Share the cost with friends or family to make it even more cost efficient. Restrictions in this home include no smoking inside the home and no fireworks allowed on the property.  Small dogs are welcome at this home, but no cats due to owner allergy. We have the summer weeks of June 15, and August 10th open as well as certain spring and fall dates.  e-mail for availability, we do have other rentals available if the week you want is booked.

hole, miniature golf), geocaching, Children's Museum, wildlife parks,
hunting, go kart track nearby (Elmers), horseback riding nearby
(Elmers), stargazing, snowmobiling, ice fishing,cross country skiing,
snowshoeing. This area has an abundance of outdoor activities for
all ages to enjoy. Our chain of lakes has many eagle nests and
osprey nests and the wildlife viewing and photographic opportunities
are some of the best in this area. Come enjoy the quiet backwaters of
this scenic chain for a Canadian like experience (no passport needed
here). Conveniently located between Eagle River and St. Germain for
ease in dining out at our many fine restaurants and for shopping at
the unique stores in this area.
