Go back to the days of Romance with a little Retro flare in this unique, nostalgic Hideaway for 2.  Select an era that you both fell in love and all those sweet memories will be remembered through songs, TV shows, newspapers & other memorabilia that will await your arrival in this private sanctuary behind America's First Nostalgic Guesthouse, The Good Ol' Days House, a Private Rental for those traveling with family & friends.  Enjoy a quiet refuge from the hustle and bustle of this little hideaway yet minutes away from shopping, fine dining, & local conveniences such as drug stores, fast food, grocery stores and department stores.

The Hideaway is equipped with a flat screen TV, Romantic Movie DVD's, Comcast Cable TV, small coffee maker, coffee & tea, utensils  eating & cooking, bathrobes, towels, all linens, bath soaps including "Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific", and "Herbal Essence" favorite shampoos from the past!

There are several excellent restaurants for fine dining in the area such as close-by The Back Porch & The Speer Street Grill, Lenora's in Perryopolis, & Lucchesi's in Monessen.  You can also enjoy good home-style family type restaurants, fast food and other familiar chain restaurants all less than one mile away.

Pittsburgh dining is 25 miles or a 30, 45 minute drive.

Seven Springs is less than an hour away.

There are 2 yummy pizza shops, a Dairy Queen, Bakery & Grocery Store all within walking distance.

A friendly local 'watering hole' tavern is also within walking distance on the Main Street.

Shopping: Many vintage & antique shops are close by within a few minutes or up to a 15 minute drive.  We have Gabriel Brothers, which is a 'Bargain Place' to shop for name brands & closeouts.
The Brand new Tanger Outlet Mall is 20 minutes away and there are 6 Shopping Malls all within a 30 - 45 minute drive.  Such as South Hills Village, Westmoreland Mall, Uniontown Mall, Franklin Mall, Century III Mall and Monroeville Mall.

Churches: Just like in those Good Ol' Days when faith in God was the center of any community--- Churches of all denominations are nearby and most within walking distance to the home

The Rates included are all inclusive with cleaning fees.  Since it is a private rental of personal property and a lease agreement is signed there are no sales taxes to be included.
