Family Reunion House, Three Blocks to Beach in Bethany Beach

Large house available for group retreats and family reunions, sleeps 28 people.

Location is 34973 Belle Road, Bethany Beach, DE 19930.  When driving down Belle Road, the house is the second house from the end of the road on the left.  The two-story house is blue with white shutters and has an upper level front porch and large lower level fenced in and gated back deck with a boat dock.  The lower level can accomodate handicapped persons as there are no steps to enter the house.

Parking is available in front of house in large drive way for 8 vehicles

House has dining table upstairs that seats 10 people and lower level dining table that seats 6 people.  Card table and chairs in upper level bedroom can be brought into dining area to seat more people

Located waterfront on a lagoon, three blocks from Atlantic Ocean Beach.  You have a view of the lagoon from three sides of the house, so it is like being on a houseboat.

Beach parking is available along the road leading to the beach.  There is also a bay beach right south of the house where children can swim in the calm waters of the bay.

Back deck is fenced in and gated and has boat dock, so lots of crabbing is available off back deck.

Back deck has 4 lounge chairs, 3 dining tables and arm chairs and a gas grill, set up for outdoor family dinners.  There is a large tree to provide shade on a portion of the deck.

Front of house has upper level smoking porch with 5 chairs and side tables with view of lagoon

Great views of lagoon from three sides of house and located on Little Assawoman Bay, a wildlife refuge area

Our beach is the Fenwick Island State Park Beach - beautiful and unspoiled with lots of sand dunes and parking for vehicles for surf fishing

This house is located only a 10-minute drive from Ocean City, where there is nightlife, restaurants, and the Ocean City boardwalk with carnaval rides

House has 500-channel cable TV with premium movie channels, wireless internet, and 4 TVs.

Living room has 3-D 47" TV connected to free Netflix movies and 500 cable TV channels.  3-D glasses are stored in house.

Den has flat screen TV with free Netflix movies

Upper level master bedroom has cable TV that also has free Netflix movies 

Towels and sheets are in the house, enough for all of the beds, but must be washed prior to departure

There is a washer/dryer on each level of the house

Plenty of china and cookware is in the house, in both kitchens, enough to feed large groups of up to 28 people

House has 7 bedrooms, a lower level den, 4 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and an outdoor shower

Upper level has two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub

Lower level has two bathrooms, both with shower stalls

Upper level bedroom # 1 Queen-sized bed (sleeps 2)

Upper level master bedroom # 2 Queen-sized bed and a day bed with a lower trundle (sleeps 4). Has TV with free Netflix movies

Upper level bedroom # 3 Queen sized bed and set of bunk beds (sleeps 4)

Upper level living room has 2 queen-sized sleeper couches

Lower level has two bathrooms with showers and an outdoor shower

Lower level den has two queen sleeper couches

Lower level bedroom # 1 has queen-sized bed

Lower level bedroom # 2 has queen-sized bed

Lower level bedroom # 3 has two twin beds and a set of bunk beds

Lower level bedroom # 4 has a King-sized bed that can be split into two twin beds and cable TV

Lower level den has kitchenette and dining area

Crabbing is available off back deck.

Atlantic Ocean beach is three blocks from the house, totally natural and free of any buildings on the beach

Fenwick Island State Park beach entrance with parking is a 5-minute drive south of the house and there is a bay beach there also with surf boarding and jet ski rentals and swimming for children in the calm bay waters

All weekend rentals are a 3-night minimum

Add the $200 departure cleaning fee to all rentals

Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend is $600 per night and the weeks rent Saturday to Saturday

September weeks (7 nights only) are Friday to Friday and are $300 per night plus the $200 cleaning fee.

Labor Day weekend is $600 per night for 3 nights plus the $200 cleaning fee.

Check-out on Labor Day is 7:00 PM

September weekends are $400 per night for a 3-night minimum plus the cleaning fee

Columbus Day weekend is $400 per night for 3 nights plus the $200 cleaning fee

October Weekends after Columbus Day weekend are $300 per night for a 3-night minimum plus the cleaning fee

Winter rates (November to March) are $250 per night for a 3-night minimum plus the $200 cleaning fee

April is $300 per night for a 3-night minimum rental

May is $400 per night for a 3-night minimum rental

Thanksgiving is $500 per night for a 4-night minimum plus the $200 cleaning fee

Christmas and New Years are $400 per night for a 3-night minimum plus the cleaning fee

Taxes are already included in these rental rates.

A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve the house, due in 10 days from the date on the contract

The rest of the 50% deposit is due in 3 weeks from the date on the contract

Then the final 50% balance is due 5 weeks ahead of the rental date

You can pay via check or money order.

If paying by credit card through Paypal, there is an extra 2.9% added to the rental rate.

Please do not ask for a discount.  These rates are already rock bottom for a 7-bedroom waterfront house near the beach.

 All renters will be required to pay the $200 cleaning fee upon departure
