Located 65 miles from Florida’s East Coast, Grand Bahamas Island is
the perfect destination for boaters and people who love water
sports. When you don’t crave action enjoy a peaceful respite on the
spacious patio with a magical view overlooking the clear turquoise
waters of the marina. The smell of the ocean and feel of our warm
breezes are a sensation all their own.

The house is very comfortable for 6 persons, beautifully decorated,
clean, updated, well appointed and located in a quiet residential
area. (Beds:1-King, 1-Queen, 2-twin) We supply all linens, but please
bring your own beach towels.

The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a secure and fenced-in
side yard with water for rinsing equipment after your day of diving.

There is a supply of board games to keep you occupied on the rare
rainy day. The Community tennis court and pool are directly opposite
the house. The house is an ample 3000sf and the attached carport
offers good cover for 2+ cars.

The Port Lucaya Market Place and UNEXSO (diving) are 7 minutes by
car. The International Market Place and downtown Freeport is a 2
minute drive.

Arrive at the (FPO) Freeport’s new airport where our extra long
runway accepts jet service from major cities in the Caribbean,
Europe and the USA; daily or weekly direct flights from cities such
as Atlanta, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, and New York. The
house is about 7 minutes directly south of the airport.

Arrive via boat and make use or our private dock. There is 50-30-
15amp electric available for a small usage fee. The Xanadu Hotel
Customs Office, at the entry of our canal, is convenient to our
dock - arrival is easy. Immigration rules are the same for all
arrivals; persons require a passport and pets require a permit. To
avoid delays boat owners need to check rules and port entry fees on
line.

prefer sail boats. If you don’t want to bring your own boat you can
charter a boat for your desired activities.
-The clear, clean waters found everywhere around the island make
swimming and snorkeling a beautiful pleasure.
-Bikes, scooters, and skidoo rental is available, along with
parasailing and horseback riding.
-In the Nature Center your can see the colorful flora and wildlife
that call this part of the world home, bird watchers welcome.
-Golf courses and beautiful beaches are everywhere.
-Live entertainment in the Casino or village square fills your
evening with dance and music.
-Party boats, a flat-bottom boat tour over the coral reef, and
island hopping will give you plenty of opportunity to entertain
everyone in the family.
