Tamarindo is situated in the center of Costa Rica's world-renowned Gold Coast, with all of its exciting activities, excellent amenities and spectacular natural beauty.  Relax at Tamarindo's beautiful beach where you can find calm swimming spots, or excellent surf along the estuaries. Take a surf lesson, tour the estuary and see monkeys, crocs and exotic birds, or venture to the Playa Grande side of the bay to watch the giant leatherback turtles nest.
