Picture yourself at a private beach in your own charming cottage. Seagrape Cottage is a tropical home a few 49 steps from beach in a residential community. We're located on the East End of Sanibel Island near Lighthouse Point & the Sanibel Marina. Our two bedroom, one bath cottage is adorable. The full kitchen is great for the cook who enjoys hanging out in the kitchen but still wants to be included where friends are relaxing. Unravel the secret of the lovely seashells of Sanibel Island as you walk down our stony lane to the practically private walkway directly onto the beach. I can pretty much guarantee you'll see dolphins every morning and exotic birds most of the day.  

Full kitchen is equipped with everything you need, Living and Dining room, counter bar and stools, tropical decor. Large enough for a couple to spend time together for a month or more. This is truly a dreamy beach cottage on a splendid little island in the tropics. What more could you desire! On the beach, everything is good....

Pleasant and relaxing ambience. You need bring nothing but yourself. We are on the bike path and a block from small shopping center. Seagrape Cottage is an alternative lifestyle to busy inns or condos.

Friendly & helpful locals are your neighbors. Our last guests went on a boat ride with one of their new friends from this residential street.

WI-Fi. Washer/Dryer; Cable TV, DVD Film/Books/Games/Puzzles/Reading Library. Fully stocked kitchen; all beach necessities, thick linens and towels are ready for you.  

You do not need anything but light clothing, swimsuit & food. Everything else you could possibly need is provided, so come as you are! That's the best part of a successful holiday -- easy to do because it is all here for your pleasure. No planning needed.

Billy's Bike Rentals has bikes, mopeds, segways and wheel chairs available for rent. They deliver to your door.

This property is fine for the elderly too.  There are only 3 steps to get into the cottage.

In case you don't already know about the charms of our island, Sanibel is a unique island with a back-to-nature environment. No worries - No stress... Just a really cool place to kick back and do ...whatever....

Leave everything behind and relax at the beach; stroll down or bike the nature's paths at Ding Darling Nature Conservatory; check out the guided boat tours all over the island; rent a boat at Jensen's Marina; drive into the famous Florida Everglades, kick back and watch the sunset unfold at Mucky Duck Pub while you enjoy some fish 'n chips, a glass of wine or one of hundreds of beer and listen to the live music on the beach.

Sanibel Island is connected to Captiva Island by a small bridge. You can go back and forth for new experiences at each island.

We have a large library full of films, books, puzzles and games and other stuff to do at night at home. Order a pizza, get some take-out, or cook your fish from a day at the fishing pier and simply relax at home.

If you want to drive to Miami, we are about an hour; Disney (Orlando, FL) is approx. 4 hours drive; Everglades City 45 min; Naples, Bonita Springs, Ft Myers less than 30 minutes away.

If you want to go off-island, there are tons of outlet stores and the Coconut Point Mall nearby, but why go off-island? Everything is here for you without the chain restaurants and large department stores. Everything is unique and customized to fit your needs and desires.

Dates are flexible and can begin in the middle of a month as well. 

We are UNABLE TO RENT NIGHTLY OR WEEKLY. Zoning restricts us because we are a residential area and limited to a particular number of nights & guests.
