Towards the charming town of Venice itself, walk just eight blocks to find coffee shops, seafood restaurants and great window shopping. Both Venice Beach and the famous Venice landmark Sharky’s on the Pier are also within walking or biking distance. Enjoy ocean views while dining and take an after-dinner walk along the pier extending into the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, the Harbor Drive house is just a five-minute drive to beautiful Casey Key and the white sands of Nokomis Beach. The house recently changed ownership and many renovations and upgrades have been completed. Guests will enjoy new kitchen and bathroom renovations, fresh paint throughout, and gleaming, newly refinished terrazzo floors. The home has also been upgraded with new furnishings, linens, draperies, bed, kitchen items, and mattress. With one bedroom and a high-quality, comfortable living room sofa bed, it’s perfect for an individual, couple, or family of four. Big windows, high ceilings and a general feeling of roominess are just what you need in this climate. The home has a beautiful, lush backyard which can be enjoyed from rocking chairs or a full patio dining area on the wonderful, screened lanai. This provides essentially an outdoor living room from which to enjoy cool ocean breezes and relaxation. A fully equipped kitchen helps you to economize while on vacation, and a laundry area with washer and dryer provides added convenience. Being so close to so many beaches and also to downtown Venice, it’s easy to pack a lot into a day - totally ditching the car if you choose. Perhaps choose to rent bikes during your stay, safely stashing them in the home’s laundry area when not in use. Past guests really love this house and its dream location.
