vacation rental description
Between Beaches is a unique property located on what is known as a terminal moraine, formed by glaciers and named Macdonald Spit. Located across Kachemak Bay from Homer, it is surrounded by water, islands and snow covered mountains. The waters of Kachemak Bay are some of the richest in the world for sea life offering visitors an unforgettable experience. The unique geology of the area, has produced a fantastic setting for beach combing, tide pooling, fishing and wild life. Here you have the opportunity to step out your door to the sound of Eagles and Sea Otters and watch the sun rise over one beach, then you can turn around and watch it set over another. The shape of the land allows you to always find a shade free location to enjoy. Alaskan Pioneers built this rustic cabin, and without loosing its cozy charm, water and electricity were later added for comfort. And although small, it has everything you need for an unforgettable stay.
