Villa Florines, a romantic getaway on beautiful lake Como in Lake Como

Villa Florines is located in Lenno,a picturesque village in the
centre on the northwest side of Lake Como, situated in a sheltered
bay with a charming boulevard, away from the traffic. It has some
good restaurants, attractive cafe's, a beach and you will never get
tired of the beautiful shenery.
Lenno has a history dating back to the Romans. Pliny had a villa on
the shore of the lake. The baptistry in the village square is of the
eleventh century. The crypt of the church dates from the twelveth
century. All the boats which tour the lake stop in Lenno. A very
short ride brings you to Bellagio. Villa d'Este is 18 km south of
Lenno. Villa Balbianello (from the movies " a month by the lake" and
Star wars" ) is located on the peninsula overlooking the village
Lenno is at 60 km from Milan, 25 km from Como, 30 km from Lugano,
100 km from St. Moritz, 3 km from Tremezzo (Villa Carlotta) and 7 km
from Menaggio ( the oldest golf course in Italy).
The property consists of a main house which comfortably accomodates
8-9 guests and a guest cottage with room for 2 people and a sofabed
for 2 children or an adult. The villa was build in the 19th century
and recently compleely renovated. It is furnished with pieces of
classic Italian antiques and the kitchen and the batrooms show that
unique Italian design.
The main villa entrance is reached by 15 external stone steps from
the gate and a two-car garage.
On the ground floor : Hall, large living room with fireplace,
satellite TV, VCR, CD player, one half bath, large gourmet kitchen
with fireplace. Professional stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave,
fridge, coffe machine, toaster. An arch separate the kitchen from
the dining room. Separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
On the first floor : One bed room with a queen size bed, terrace,
and en suite bathroom with shower. One master bed room with a queen
size bed, balcony with lake view , one large bathroom with tub and
shower.
On the second floor : one bedroom with two twin beds, one batroom
with shower, one bedroom with a queen size bed with a beatiful view
of the lake. An extra bed can be added to both rooms.
Nestled within the grounds behind the villa is a lovely cottage with
a living room with wide French doors to the garden and a fireplace,
sofabed for 2 children or an adult, full eat-in kitchen with doors
to a patio ( stove, oven, fridge, dishwasher, coffe machine,
toaster, microwave) one bed room with a queen size bed, one bathroom
with tub and shower.
Villa Florines is at on block from the lake, very close to the dock
of the boat, cafe's, restaurants and super markets.

Satellite TV, VCR, CD player, cell-phone, washer, dryer, iron,
hairdryer, fireplaces, patio in stones with outdoor furniture,
2 full kitchen, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, professional
stove, cooking utensils and linens.

Activities on-site or nearby include hiking, biking, golfing,
tennis, fishing, shopping, swimming , boating and water-skiing.
Lenno has a big outdoor market every tuesday.

Low season : 1st of November to 31st of March

High season : 1st of April to 31st of October
Villa for 8-9 persons $4,000/week -Cottage for 2-3persons $1,500/week
