Stoney Creek Sunpath townhouse:   Welcome to our Whistler main village home. Great location across the street from the village and the free ski shuttle to the lifts.  Just a 3 minute walk to the inside of the village square and also to the large grocery store at Marketplace Centre.  Our vacation home is equipped for guests who  stay for just a few days or a full month with rates that are often competitive with many of Whistler's deluxe one bedroom condos.  Parking in our Sunpath gated garage area is free.  See our special low rates posted during spring and fall.        

DETAILS:
  985 sq. feet deluxe home with private entrance.  Light and bright. No dimly lit rooms. All one level.  No stairs to climb; no bunkbed ladders to climb.

Perfect for 2-4 guests for total comfort. Reservations are for up to 4 guests, with also counting babies as part of  your guest count.


LOCATION: Stoney Creek Sunpath Townhouse Complex

Sunpath is the smallest complex of the 3 Stoney Creek complexes located on Northlands Blvd., which is a main street across the street from the main Whistler Village. Not by any nightclubs. Large hot tub and a  pool in the center of the complex, which are well maintained.

 Walk everywhere.  Two grocery stores,  shops,  and restaurants are a 2 - 3 minute walk. No businesses next to, above, or below our home.

 

Free Secure Underground Parking  No daily $14-$24 parking fee.

 Free shuttle buses outside our complex, if you don't want to walk and carry your skis/boards through the village to the lifts. During ski season, the buses run every 5 minutes.

 Family owned & managed with dependable & outstanding guest service for those choosey and discriminating travelers who want a high quality & well maintained home.  NO private management company handles our home or any of our reservations. Exceptional guest service. 

 

During Whistler's very popular mountain biking season,* May - October *,  bike storage  and a bike washing station are located inside the secure area of Sunpath's garage. Many locked bike cages available. We ask our guests to use Sunpath's locked bike cages to store their bikes and not bring their mountain bikes inside our home. Secure daily bike storage also located at the Whistler Bike Park.

Free concierge service, which can provide answers many of our guests' questions and extra needs. Our professional dependable cleaner handles our condo and takes great care of our unit.  He can be phoned  for any special needs.

 

 Comfortable beds with a new Tempur-Pedic queen mattress on one of the bedroom beds.   New special lighting features with dimmer switches for mood lighting.   Air conditioning provided June to early September.    We continually update our home and have many amenities not normally found in vacation homes.

 

Age requirement of 26 for adults to rent our home. 

No pets.    No smoking.

  Families with one or two children are welcome. Graco folding playpen for babies or toddlers to sleep in is available for our guests to use for their little ones.

Our efficient concierge service, Shirley, can provide tips of what to do and see in Whistler, complete lists of activities and car rentals etc.  Through Shirley, groceries can be ordered and have them delivered to the our home. Dinner reservations can be made for you along with child care services arranged.

Emergency 24 hour service.

 Shirley can provide you with discounted ski tickets and have them waiting for you on our kitchen counter when you arrive. She has lived in Whistler for many years and knows the total area well.

A Prized Gem in Whistler

We stayed at Paula's condo in 2010 and were so impressed that we returned again this March Break and it was even better than it was before. Paula's condo is your home away from home. She has many updated amenities in her condo - from newly purchased recliners in the living room, dimmable lights, a new electric range, microwave and lighting in the kitchen, as well as several other smaller appliances that your typical condo does not have - a waffle maker, a slow-cooker, a Keurig with K-cups, an electric teapot and coffee pot to name a few. The cupboards are so well stocked with plates, glasses, bowls, dishes, pots, pans, utensils - almost every item you could possibly think of that a fully-stocked kitchen would have. We even took advantage of using the propane BBQ on the front patio. Paula also goes out of her way to send you a grocery list and asks you to pick out items that you would like in the condo. These items await you upon your arrival, not to mention condiments and extra treats that Paula leaves you. In thirty years of travelling and staying at condos, we have never seen a condo owner care so much for her guests.

Paula has also purchased new mattresses for each bedroom with beautiful bedding. Both bedrooms are impeccably decorated - as is the entire condo. The second bathroom also has a new shower stall. The bathrooms are even stocked with lush towels, shampoo, conditioner, body washes, soaps - it's literally like living at home.

The location of Paula's condo is ideal for any traveller. While I do not ski, my husband and my daughter who do ski, had an easy walk across the street to catch the bus each morning which dropped them off in the Whistler Village - a short walk to the Blackcomb and Whistler Gondolas. The condo is also a short walk to the village for great shopping and the IGA grocery store. I was never bored in her condo, as Paula has it fully stocked with books, movies, CD's and games. The BOSE sound system in the living room is a nice added touch, as are the HD televisions in the living room and both bedrooms.

I would recommend this condo to anyone travelling to Whistler. It's literally THE BEST you'll ever see. When we plan our next trip to Whistler, we will definitely be staying at Paula's condo.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

UK Visitors, here to enjoy the skiing and visiting family

This property is a joy. Comfortable, welcoming and a very well located home from home. Many years of travelling and renting accomodation in ski and holiday resorts the world has offered few delights and many sub-standard experiences. But, we are delighted to report that this Condo totally exceeded any expections we might have had, before setting off to enjoy Whistler.
We have never stayed anywhere that offered the degree of comfort and homeliness that this delightful property gave us. The equipment is new, high quality and complete. The condo is supremely well stocked and the owners go completely out of their way to make visitors welcome; always available to answer any question very promptly and thoroughly and with truly excellent local representation to assist with all minor details (as well as big stuff like having lift tickets waiting on the counter, the arrival night after a long journey from home, via Heathrow airport)
In summary, a great location, a fabulous experience, a warm welcome and our strongest positive endosement. Stay at this property - you will love it, and circumstances permitting, we fully intend to return for another stress free and comfortbale holiday.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, sight seeing, tourists without a car
