This charming house boasts an open floor plan on main level with large family, dining, and kitchen areas. There are three spacious bedrooms in this house: a master suite with a king-sized bed, a bedroom with a queen bed and a bedroom with two twin beds. There is also a full-sized sleeper sofa. The beach house will sleep eight people comfortably. There are two full bathrooms, an outside shower to rinse off the sand from the beach, and a fish- cleaning sink for the fishermen in the group. The ocean is visible from most windows in the house. There is a sun deck as well as a screened-in porch, ideal for that morning coffee and quaint oceanfront evening sunset dinners.

The views from this home are unbelievable! Walk off the deck and down a short walk and you are on the beach! No shared community boardwalks or access points for your family to haul all your stuff. Set it up, leave it, and enjoy the most incredible feature of this newly updated, comfortable beach home that has the beach outside your front door and the National forest less than 100 yards away. Sit outside on the deck and it is so quiet- the only sounds you will hear are the wind rustling through the pine trees and the gentle crashing of the ocean waves.  This beautiful beach home on St George Sound is one of the last of “Old Florida” on this stretch of the “Forgotten Coast” just outside the historical town of Carrabelle. The large one acre wooded lot provides plenty of privacy; Loggerhead Turtles, Horseshoe Crabs, Bald Eagles, and other wild native species as your neighbors and are still abundant here in this pristine area; you will hardly pass another soul and may even see the occasional black bear! The unspoiled paradise is perfect for the nature lover and anyone just looking for a true nature retreat off the beaten path. Parents can watch the kids on the beach or join them for walks, sand play, water play, snorkeling, windsurfing, shell gathering, fishing or just plain exploring the creatures at low tide. If that gets boring, nearby attractions include Appalachicola (shopping/restaurants), St. George Island (just a stone’s throw across this bay) and several surrounding state parks such as Tate’s Hell (many biking/jogging trails), St. George Island State Park (fishing/swimming/shops), Bald Point State Park in Alligator Point, golfing in Lanark Village (an award winning 18 hole course).
