Attitude Key West At the Beach in Key West

Owners response: I wish you had let me know that there was an issue. It saddens me that you were disappointed. We have spent a great deal of money, time and effort in our purchase and refurbishing of our vacation home. Thank you for acknowledging that it is as depicted in the pictures. We take great pride in our home. It is unfortunate that you had difficulty with the volume on the TV, I could have assisted with that annoyance (2 remotes 1 for the TV and 1 for the sound bar). It was never my intent to mislead you. When we initially corresponded I advised that there was a balcony repair project underway and we were offering a discount for that reason. You did not inquire as to the extent of the project nor did you ask any questions other than request a bigger discount. I was there in May, they were working on a stack of the units in the court yard, there was a netting covering the affected balconies the contractor was making a great effort to keep the area looking as good as possible while still getting the job done. The maintenance staff takes great care to keep things tidy, cleaning the common decks/walkways daily, all the pool loungers are lined up each night, public bathrooms are always clean, etc. You are correct about the view from the balcony it is as depicted in the pictures, a peek, your assumption that you would be able to hear the waves was incorrect and you did not inquire about that. Unfortunately because of the construction on N Roosevelt Blvd (the other side of the island), a lot of traffic has been rerouted/diverted along Atlantic Ave, Bertha Street and S Roosevelt Blvd. This is something that we have no control over. Our Condo was one of the first to be completed, new Hurricane patio doors and transom windows in both the living area and bedroom. This has greatly reduced the amount of exterior sound transfer, however with the detour there is certainly more traffic than normal. We spend a lot of time on the balcony, yes you can hear the traffic below, however, it has not dampened our enjoyment. The Private Beach area is as depicted in the pictures, a small private area with loungers, umbrella's there is a dune area met at its edge by the Atlantic Ocean although it is a small area it exists. I agree that the hall carpeting has taken a beating during the construction it will be replaced once the project is complete. I would have worked with you trying to find a satisfactory solution had you made me aware of your concerns. Sherri

Owners response: Thank you so much for the lovely review. We just purchased the unit in January and are planning on spending the entire month of February 2013. We had some cupboards removed, replaced the fridge, stove, microwave, range hood, painted from top to bottom, purchased all new towels, beach towels, kitchen linens, sheets, pillows, duvets, duvet covers etc in February for OUR vacation home. A couple of the standout features for us are the pool and whirl pool. My husband is excited about the tennis courts. I like the fact that we are on the top floor "Penthouse" so you don't have anyone above you. One of my favorite bike rides in all of Key West is along North Roosevelt out onto the pier and along the beach just around the corner..... So glad that you enjoyed your time with us..... please hurry back..... Key West is calling!..... and remember it is ALL in the Attitude Key West at the Beach!!!!!
