From the moment we walked through the door we got right into the Key West laid back attitude and style. The condo was very clean and spacious and had everything we needed. The grounds were clean and lush and the pool and jacuzzi were wonderful. There wasn't much of a beach on the property however, Smather's Beach was within a short walking distance and Higgs Beach was down the road. The bikes made the stay even better as we were able to take them everywhere on the island and didn't need to use our car. Sherri got back to us right away with any questions we had and the check in process was easy. We hope to be back someday!

Very Nice

Very nice place...way bigger than the pictures seemed to indicate. It was well-stocked with everything you'd need/expect; including plenty of towels for the beach and pool. The pool and hot tub were great and the security guards, while diligent, didn't seem overbearing to us (as contrasted with a previous review). If fact, we have some younger children, and totally appreciated the attentiveness of the security staff. That said, we didn't stay much at the condo and were out and about mostly. For us the unit was pretty much a place to lay our heads at night, and it more than served its purpose...a nice place at a fair price. Lastly, Sherri, the owner, was prompt in returning our emails/calls and was very helpful. We'll for sure return some day...hopefully soon.

Great condo

We were very happy with the condo. It's on the top (4th) level. It is very large, has a big balcony and you can see the ocean from the balcony (about 100 yards away), which is great. The balcony does face the street so there is a little noise from traffic but it's not bad.

The condo was well stocked with everything from ziploc bags to charcoal to towels and chairs for the beach. It was within a half a block from Smathers beach, one of the public beaches on the island. We also loved having the bikes to troll around the island on.

The courtyard area was beautiful. They had an orchid area, little painted rocks, lots of palm trees, a great hot tub, and a view of the ocean from the pool deck. We took pool floaties (loungers) so we could lay in the pool, but they were not allowed. Neither are drinks (not even water) anywhere near the pool. There was a camera on the pool and anytime they saw something that they didn't like, they sent a security guard out to stop you. Therefore, we only spent a couple of days there and went to the beach instead.

Sherri was great to talk to and work with. She got us everything we needed and when I emailed her I got replies right away. This was our first time renting a property instead of getting a hotel, and we were very happy.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car
