This charming stone and cedar lakeshore get away has a long history in the village of Topinabee and the shore of Mullett Lake. This adorable 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage has it's own private frontage on Mullett Lake and the "famous inland waterway" with an outdoor hot tub, cable TV, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi Internet!! This cottage literally is on the shore of Mullett. All you see is endless water!
The Inland Waterway is Michigan's longest chain of rivers and lakes and this cottage is right at the heart of it all! The Inland Waterway runs through Pickerel Lake, Crooked Lake, The Crooked River, Burt Lake, The Indian River, Mullett Lake, The Cheboygan River, and finally into Lake Huron. The Inland Waterway can handle boats up to 65 feet long (18 foot beam) with up to a 5 foot draft. There are 17 species of fish inhabit the waterway whether ice fishing for walleye, spring steelhead, summer perch, trout, bass, or downrigging for salmon in the Great Lakes, this area has it all.
For fun by land, enjoy the North Central State Trail, a beautiful 62 mile hiking, biking and snowmobiling trail, which passes through Indian River as it connects Gaylord to Mackinaw City. Up for ORVing, Motorcycling or snowmobiling; check out Tomahawk Trails which provides miles of scenic wilderness. Hunt, fish and play in 180,000+ acres of State Land including the Mackinaw State Forest and lovely Pigeon River Country State Forest, home to Michigan’s only free ranging Elk Herd, the largest herd east of the Mississippi. Don't forget to visit the world’s tallest wooden Crucifix at Cross in the Woods, in Indian River, 10 min from cottage.
Truly Nature’s Mecca, this cottage offers you the ideal location to boat, fish, hunt, camp, bike, golf, kayak, canoe, raft, tube, sail, snowmobile, ORV, Motorcycle, ski, bird watch, mushroom hunt, hike, skate, dine, and shop. By water or by land, quiet sport or motor, fun with nature is certain with so many activities available to you.
Cottage is supplied with everything you will need except food and drink. Town for groceries very close. Kitchen has everything from pots and pans to dishes, utensils. Kitchen has stove, refrigerator microwave and dishwasher. Cottage is set up as Home away from Home!
Bonus: Full size washer and dryer also! Also: Cottage has AIR CONDITIONING!!!!
For the larger families, this cottage can be rented with 1-2 cottages which are next to this cottage cottage each having 75-100 feet of private frontage. One cottage has 3 bedrooms and the other cottage has 2 bedroom with another OUTDOOR HOT TUB.

This cottage is all knotty pine on the inside. Ceiling fans in Kitchen and master bedroom. This cottage is a "Gemstone ofTopinabee" Natural wood fireplace in dining/kitchen area.
Patio set and propane grill on deck. Firepit on property.
Cottage has log furniture. Master bedroom has queen bed. 2nd bedroom has a bunkbed with double bed on bottom and single bed on top.
Pullout queen sofabed. Very nice cottage!!
Cottage has two docks. One personal dock and another longer docik if guests bring a boat.
This cottage is great for small families or romantic getaways.

Behind cottage is the trail! Cottage is easy on and off I-75
Boat launch very close to cottage.

Mullett Lake has perch, bass, walleye, 17 species of fish in all which inhabit the waterway
Crystal clear water. Close to town, library, restaurants/cafes. Bike path behind home which actually goes from Gaylord to Mackinac!
