This lovely 5 bedroom home is nestled on over 1/2 acre offering picturesque views of Bald Mountain, Lake Lure, Bald Mountain Golf Course and Lake. From the outside it looks like a small "Cape Cod" style property but open the doors and you will find a sprawling great room with large windows providing for lovely views of the outdoors. There is a large open deck off the great room as well as an enclosed porch with pitched ceilings and it is screened in for year round enjoyment. The large eat in kitchen is well equipped for the most discriminating "renter". Plenty of places to dine in this house. Formal dining room features a table for 8-10 guests as well as the kitchen dining table that can also accomodate up to 10 guests. The master bedroom is on the main level and it features volume ceilings, warm paint colors, 2 walk in closets and a large master bath with his/her sinks and full shower. There are new hardwood floors throughout the main living areas. Take a walk downstairs to find 4 oversized bedrooms; 2 that offer 1 queen and 1 twin bed, 1 that offers a queen bed and 1 that offers 2 sets of bunk beds. There is also a large second family room that has air hockey, desk area and a TV for your enjoyment. There is a second open deck located off the lower level with Adirondack chairs to sit and reminise about the lovely days spent in the mountains. Lake Lure is a piece of paradise - unspoiled and an escape that you will certainly enjoy. Always Welcome is a lovely home and the owners do not rent it out on a regular basis so it is well kept and in excellent condition. Take a look and contact me with any questions that you have!
