Vacation Rental Description

This charming and spacious first floor unit duplex is located just steps (89 to be exact) to the  
sands of Mission Bay in the exclusive South Mission District of San Diego, widely known as "America's  
Finest City."  The setting is unique - it's adjacent to Mission Bay Park, on a 2.5 mile-long  
peninsula, only two blocks wide. The ocean is a short block and a half to the west. Enjoy the  
serenity of the Bay or the roar of the Pacific in this special location, with its magnificent  
sunrises and sunsets. 
 
The beach house has a gray exterior and cobalt blue awnings which gives it a charming "nautical"  
appearance.  It's located three houses in from the Bay, on a small street near the south end of  
Mission Boulevard, and very near the jetty.  The private patio is a great place to relax.  It is  
nicely landscaped, and has new patio furniture and barbecue. 
 
For those who desire more activity, there are miles of boardwalk on both ocean side and bay side for  
walking, roller blading, and bicycling.  Kayaks, beach bikes, sand chairs, sand toys, and boogie  
boards are available for your use at no charge. 
 
Bring your laptop to check email, etc.  We now have cable modem high speed internet service. 
 
The unit is immaculate, is decorated with attention to details, and has a well-equipped kitchen. It's  
a perfect retreat for singles, couples, or small families. It is completely furnished for a very  
comfortable extended stay. 
 
Bedding Information: One queen-size in bedroom; One full-size futon in living room.

Maximum Occupancy:  Limited to 4 persons. 
 
Policies: 
*Payment Options: Personal/Business/Cashier's Check, Visa and MasterCard Credit Cards.   
*Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday during Peak Season (mid-June through 1st week in September);  
all others have a three-night minimum. 
*No smoking or pets allowed. 
*Check-in after 2:00 p.m.  Check-out by 10:00 a.m. 
*A 10.5% city room tax will be applied to the rental rates. There is no tax due for stays of one  
month or longer.   
*The security deposit of $200 is refundable shortly after departure if key is returned and premises  
are left in acceptable condition. 
*Information such as obtaining keys and whom to call for assistance will be sent after receipt of  
final payment. 
*Quiet hours are betweeen 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.  Noise ordinances are strictly enforced.  
*Adult renters must be 21 and older. 
 
Cancellations and Refunds:  Cancellation fee is $100. 
 
Deposits:  One-half of the rent is due at time of booking. Balance (remainder of rent, room tax, and  
security deposit) is due 30 days prior to arrival, and can be paid by check or credit card.

Activities and Attractions

Nearby Attractions:  Many fine restaurants, specialty shops, and  
nightlife are a short distance away. World-famous Sea World is just 5  
minutes away.  Enjoy the colorful fireworks show from Sea World each  
evening, seen across Mission Bay. Historic Old Town, the Gaslamp  
District, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, La Jolla, and Del Mar are  
within a 15-minute drive.  Belmont Amusement Park is 3/4 mile away.   
The wooden track roller coaster was built in 1927, and is the largest  
in the country.  The Olympic-size fresh water pool, located in the  
park, and known as "The Plunge" is a great place for swimming for  
both children and adults.  Both roller coaster and pool are open year  
round.  Less than an hour's drive away are Mexico to the South and  
Legoland to the North. Hiking, biking, golf, parks, swimming,  
snorkeling/diving, boating, sailing, waterskiing, surfing,  
windsurfing, jet skiing, rafting, and kayaking - ALL close by.
