El Nido ~ in Palm Springs

This Spanish casa dates from 1935 and was owned by actress Dorothy Lamour.  Research and local legend say it was also the site of a rumored affair between Marilyn Monroe and a very high-ranking government official in the early 1960's.

The house is located practically across the street from the Ruth Hardy Park which has public tennis courts, playgrounds and lots of open space.

Master bed has king bed with master walk in 2 head shower.  There is also a nursery complete with crib and changing table off the master suite.  French doors lead to spacious backyard.

Guest room #3 has queen bed and shares a bath with guest bedroom #4 which has 2 twin beds. 
 
Professionally decorated, living area with 42" plasma TV and kiva wood-burning fireplace, sun/playroom, kitchen laundry room, 4 bedrooms plus nursery area, 3 full baths.  All flloors are tiles, with area rugs.  Fully enclosed and gated yard.

Triple french doors open to the backyard from the sun/playroom and invites you to step out to the spacious yard complete with childrens playhouse, pool and spa and mature fruit trees.

The updated kitchen has microwave, toaster, coffee maker and everything needed for the serious chef.  Fully equipped including all serving dishes, glassware, ceramic dishes plus plastic ware for outdoors.  Laundry room located off the kitchen. 

There is one covered gated parking space.  Another covered space is located on the circular drive in front.  More additional parking in street.

RESERVATION DEPOSIT BINDS: $750 applied to final balance

Utility Fee: $55/day includes Pool & Spa heating during shoulder/peak]. Damage Protection Fee $69

City of Palm Springs TOT tax: 11.5% of the total rental rate, cleaning fees, pet fees and utilities. No tax on stays over 28 days.

Cleaning Fee: $250, regardless of how many guests or how long you stay*

*Mid-stay Cleaning fee: Monthly Guests are required to have 2 cleanings per month. Average mid-stay cleaning fee is $100-$200.

WOOF-WOOF Pet Fee:  $150/dog. We gladly accept well-mannered dogs under 50 lbs. Sorry kitty, kitty...no Cats allowed :(
