3BR/2BA "Great Escape" & 1BR/1BA Guest Cottage are located on the quiet cove in Cayman Kai (only steps from the Rum Point Club) on the north coast. This one story private villa is a great family or couples choice and offers a white sand barefoot beach amid palm trees that offer guests shade from the Caribbean sun. Great Escape is configured to meet the needs of the large family with a sizable "L"-shaped freshwater swimming pool, even including optional pool heat in winter ($250/wk).
What makes Great Escape stand apart from other covefront homes is that it is across the street from the best beach in Cayman Kai, just 100 feet from the front door. It also is only 150 yds from the Rum Point Club itself for ultimate convenience to dining, drinks, watersports and the gift shop.
The cove behind Great Escape it is more for boating than swimming. If you might care to rent a boat or jet ski for some of your vacation; we also have a dock. The cove bottom is soft and there are no corals to attract the fish. So for barefoot swimming or snorkeling; our guests walk across the street to the sandy beach.
Many windows and sliding doors to the pool area. The house also offers a ping-pong table as well as lounge chairs and dining tables.
(1) Oceanfront King Master Suite opens to the screened porch, (1) King Bedroom and (1) Queen bedroom share a large bathroom in main house. Optional Cottage has a king bed and trundle/day bed (sleeps 2 children), private bathroom and kitchenette. .
